Does anyone know of artists who make trance tracks with some samba beats? And what is gabba anyway? (hope i wrote it correctly) |

Gabber = a style of hardcore music that includes bits and pieced of vocals cut up and used in a very aggressive way.
Makes hardcore techno seem like Vangelis. |

Shpongle has a track with some axé singing samples in the end (ôôôôô q terrôôôô...affee :-)) but that's as far as i would go.
Also Swarup's got the track with bit and pieces of the classic Asa Branca (White Wing is the name of the track if i'm not mistaken).
And neither of this examples is exactly samba.

well... the only song i've ever heard with samba (in my opinion not really brazilian samba) beats is lotus omega - trance do brasil.... if u wanna make any song with samba beats u should get inspired by brazilian samba schools songs... try to find songs of... Gaviões da Fiel or... Rosas de Ouro or... Salgueiro or... Imperatriz Leopoldinense... those r the name of some samba schools (samba school is like an symphonic orchestra, but the people play samba) :)

There´s another track from Lotus Omega with Neguinho da Beija Flor (I think) singing on it...very nice track...uplifting as hell!!! Big hit in Bahia this summer...
Rossi and Filippo are very gringos...hehehe...
Brazil is their 2nd home;)

10x guys. Imo, there should be more tracks with brazilian beats in them. I mean, samba for example is such a powerfull and uplifting beat, it seems like a natural combination with trance.

I also think that samba has a killer beat, but I think that one or two tracks on a party once a while is enough... or else we´ll go like those Ibiza hits 'Samba de Janeiro', u know? Hehehe... I wouldn´t stand it for sure!!

Hey Vor, this Lemurians's tracks have a remix? Who did it? Can you tell me? 'cause when I first listen to that track I made me a question: "Will this music be remixed sometime?"
Btw, Lemurians nowadays are doing some good stuff with different elements from different countries... ex: Power of celtics... KILLAH!
Do they have another tracks with etnic or different elements? |
