Gopendra humans used to kill each other with weapons long before scientist, not the science kill humanity but human themselfs. For example chemicals you take, they kill, damage brain cells, first you all start having ideas how to save the world, then you develop them inside of your head and last stage is you try to convince other to support you when you have no proof. "Put your money where your mouth is" is something you say when you want people to take a bet. If someone says a comet is falling down from the sky in 2012 to kill everything, and you dont believe them you can ask them to make a bet for money on whether it is true or not. Thats what it means.

Sorry, but I dont belive it, and IF the phrophecy is some how correct (not that I belive in faith or spirits) I would say that 2012 will be a mark in a "change". Nothing that mister Anderson or miss Smith will notice. Just a little "turn" in evolution. .. If there is a big ass comet on the way, I say we call Bruce, Ben and their crew and ask them to play heros. And maybe Aerosmith will make a soundtrack?

I don’t know whether the effect of a novelty peak will result in a meteor falling down the sky. I suspect that a polar-shift will occur (like you thought Willy).
The reasons that these “problems” are occurring, are (I agree with you Willy :

Green Channel in your case i wouldn't bet on that! 10000 nuclear warheads are available in US and Russia, don't you think it's enough to destroy Terence Mckenna, The Aztecs, The Mayan and half of our solar system.

This is happening as we speak. (it takes a long time, of cource) Once every "cant remember" the polars shift side, and our shield will fade away, only to regain powers after the shift. But in some cases (Mars?) the shield never recovers, and the planet dies. Its quit interestring.. This polar shift theary.
