Today is the 365 day after the world changed,and like everything music also is changing and getting to some new evolution point, its because of this that many ppl are now listening to new degrees of music between trance and tech/house:the so called progressive house.Im used to listen to real acclaimed producers of music wich i consider very melodic and uplifiting,artists like Stephane K.;Nat Monday;Deep Dish;Morel etc.
These are cases of real big success in discography business,we also know artists that are in a way ascending to this kind of sucess (artists like Chab,Minilogue,Aircrash),but there is something missing in theyre extraordinary way of making music to get to the hitlists all over the world....Human voice !!!!
Im used to listen music with real singers that cooperate with artists to make them really big in Dancecharts,is this the next step to get more evolution in the trance scene ????
Please give me some feedback on this
preferably maybe if one of the artists read this thread can give his personal opinion about this issue!!

Well trance is certainly a new genre of music that excluded a very important part of the old school music - lyrics.
But, in many tracks you don't need the lyrics to feel emotions. Sometimes you can "understand in your own way" the track, make up a "story" about this track. For me, it's even better than words. It's beyond words. Often, it's deeper than words.

yes raver the way that each one of us make up his own story to those speacial tracks .... that gives a much wider sense of personal emotion ...
makes u think that each time u discovered something new in the track ....cause u found it in u'r self 
but although that fact i do love it when they sometime put a twisted line in with the track... or maybe some unidentefyable lyrics mixed in with the track )

Unfortunately Dance charts are mostly influenced by teenagers and their tastes. Nowadays generation is not very different from us in the same age. I couldn't be that connected to trance without listening Pink Floyd, Nirvana and other MTV staff before. It's not just about development of humankind, it's also about development of a person.

Listen to Emou, Sense Gemini, and most of all, Element.
and then we start the discussion of trance and vocals on a whole new basis.

It's pop music with a little psy trance make-up. nothing more than that.
shows a good commercial touch on Sebastian's part though (it used to be a hugeee hit here in brazil).

Squarepusher, please remember that most of the names you named aren't considered trance in this forum. this is a psytrance forum. and people here are very conservative about their type of karachana. i really like vocals and try to play at least one vocal track in each psy set i play (and more in progresive sets) but I wouldn't want to see a trance party turn into an MTV pop set.

You got totally the wrong ideia im talking about the deep side of the house scene not the POP side wich im not a fan also ...but there are some tracks with vocals that really make me shiver ,i think that the human voice togheter with eletronic Gear can make wonders ,but remember that im not speaking in the MTV´ish Phenomenon ,thats for teenagers like STas had mentioned before...

Square I dig what u mean, u talking about stuff like kings of tomorow, right? this is BU99 material (our best electronica comercial radio station) not what I'd want for a party, but quality material still.

I respect that your musical tastes,but in my humble opinion,eletronic music has to evolve to something and in the progressive trance i think that the human voice can really be more explored ,im not talking about some bla bla in tracks like most house artists do ,im speaking in something with real meaning that stays ringing in our minds!!!
I mean having another message besides music, another participant in the track history....

well i think trance artist do often bring out a message, even tho mostly spoken samples, but they sure do have a meanins, just a short one..
