Good decision.. Hope you will have the best time m8.. what about jazz clubs? or any other music? you may find alot of goodies in tel-aviv... heard that Shablul is good for Jazz music if your into that.. goodluck bro and if you need more answers just pm me.. and yep there are alot of russian speakers in Israel, so maybe you will find some friendly m8's who can speak Russian, goodluck and wishing you the best!! |

So i thought maybe i'd hijack this thread for my own purposes ...mwahahah
anyways, im planning a trip to israel sometime in october all going well... based in telaviv is the plan at the moment, but im making no definites with where im staying or going, only be there for 3 weeks, maybe come back for longer next year if i like it!
Im a veteran at doofs here in NSw, so outdoors will be my party of choice .. i know the usual, check the party promotions etc, and i will, but whats the scene like in october? Slowing down? getting colder???

It's the autumn here in october Shanna, so it's getting colder, weather & parties speaking. Stiil there're outdoor parties from time to time.. I beleive u could find good outdoor rave in that time, Let us know before you'll land

yeah i will thanks! I know its not the 'best' time to be coming, but at this stage im waiting for a friend to let me know when they will be in israel for longer than 3 days so we can catch up, then ill book flights 
pretty excited to finally make it over there, if it doesnt work out by october, then ill make it may next year for spring time |

i recommend you come visit around rosh hashana (jewish new year), September 13th, around that time theres suppose to be some killer partys inculding a HUGE festival here in south of israel near eilat.
nevertheless in the end of September 2 more festivals (Morrison Drops and TAZ) are gonna take place which you can find about in the Festivals section here in the forums |

yeah i would love to come in september and if i can i will, although i do capoeira and my grading is the last week of september, so its pushing it to make it then, which is why october is the probable date!
maybe next year ill come after boom again to israel and be there in september |

Well...
since we are at it, I'd use this thread as well..
I'm from Italy and i'll spend about 4 weeks in Israel next autumn, starting from the 18th september. I'm travelling on my own and i'm supposed to spend one week in Tel Aviv at the beginning (in some hostels...just to meet some mate)...then - who knows.. I'd like to wander a bit around the country and be in some festivals..
I saw that on the 26th there are both the TAZ and the Morrison Drops. Which one you reckon is better? Will I find someone to travel with from Tel Aviv? And - most of all - how do i get tickets from Italy?

you should check the line up of both festivals....what kind of music you prefer!
imho taz is better.....because the variety of music genres and professional organization!
also you can send a private message to the orgs of those fests....i hope they will help you!
about tickets you should know better than me....just check your nearest travel agency
as far as i know Alitalia and El Al both has flights twice in a week!
if you dont have a friends with car in israel.....you should rent a car or at least .....to get a taxi to the festival!
