worldwide success haz nothing to do with it my friendz..
my point waz that we had this one chance to make clear to the rest of the world that the Olympix are about the ANCIENT EL-LENIK SPIRIT and not about marketing and sponsors..
i dont think that bjork (who by the way happenz 2 b an artist that haz many songz in my fav list), haz the slightest (excuze my orthography) idea about the EL-LENIK SPIRIT.. she just accepted a good offer with very good money i suppose and sang..
oh and about tiesto.. i prefer to be an anonymous undaground dj till the day my spirit beginz its journey back to Sirius than to play in VENUE or MERCEDES  or whatever..

Anthropos the Olympic Games have lost their old greek spirit for a long long time and i doubt that the Athens Games could bring that spirit back.
I didnt knew by the way that an artist should have knowledge about the Greek spirit and history in order to participate in the opening or closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.The Olympic Games my friend is something UNIVERSAL that BEGUN from ancient Greece and was offered to the rest of the world just like Philosophy and Democracy were also offered many many years ago by our ancestors (with whom unfortunately we share very little in common in our days...).
And to make a long story short,anyone can participate,sing,act,compete in the Olympic Games no matter his nationality or language or skin colour or relegion.'All people on this planet are trully one entity' just like an old psy trance tune says.
And last but not least you might prefer to die as an anonymous underground dj BUT you have no right to degrade people like Tiesto or Paul Oakenfold or Sasha who have achieved worldwide recognition through their music and skills after many many years in the trance scene.You might not like them as musicians and dj's but you have to respect them in any case cause its not easy to reach the top (even the commercial top) without trying hard,and this effort deserves all of our respect.
P.S Mercedes was a legendary club for Greece and was ahead of its time and i think that you also should respect that

ok the mercedes thing did it so here it out !!
yes the spirit IZ lost and that iz why i said we should have taken this only chance to make thingz right..
yes the olympix are for everyone to participate.. (except doped athletes)
yes YOU probably dont have anything in common with my ancestors..
and yes i do play better than anyone of them, even with a random selection of recordz which THEY will give me just before i go up on the dex.. !!
i realy am NOT interested in participating in a trance(?) forum that one of its moderatorz thinks that i should give out respect to MERCEDES !!!! my fGOD !!!

I cannot understand how the people who charged for organising these Olympic Games the double ammount of money than the original estimations (in order to make profit for their pockets) could possible bring back the ancient greek spirit to the Olympic Games.If you think that Yana Daskalaki Agelopoulou and her friends and assistants could do that then sorry but i cannot aggree with you in any case.
You said something about YOUR ancestors and that i have nothing in common with them.I thought you were Greek but since you say YOUR ancestors you are probably from another country.
And probably your ancestors were very very arrogant and selfish thats why you insist that you are a better dj than guys like Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto who are profesional dj's for many years.And because i dont want to be misunderstood i will inform you that i dont like their music also but their mixing skills are top notch for sure and i doubt that you can get even close to them.
You are welcome to participate in this forum as long as you dont violate its rules and guidelines,your behaviour so far has been really nice and i dont see why you dont want to participate in this forum.I mean saying that you dont want to be part of this community just because someone (it doesnt matter if this someone is a moderator because we are all equal here) says that you should respect a club like Mercedes is at least silly.
I think that you should be more open minded about all kinds of music and also try to not act like a 'psychedelic trance underground figure' because we are full of this kind of people in our days who call themselfs underground just because they have long hair,smoke some joints in their free time,listening psy trance all the time,snobbing other kinds of electronic music,having pictures of Shiva in their bedroom and stuff like that.A friend of mine calls these people 'Millenium Goates' and i couldnt aggree more with him.We have enough of these useless people in the psy trance scene already so if you try to not be one of them it would be good also for you and the rest of the scene.

my mind waz made up about not participating in this forum anymore and i just logged in tonight to see your answer.. But..
after reading what you wrote on a "low tone" in opposition to my "high tone", i decided that i should at least reply to your msg and maybe even stay in the forum..
so..

- az i said in my first msg, the ceremony waz almost perfect and i smiled when i first heard that they played some sort of trance in the opening [i waz free camping during the first dayz of the olympix having a little private party and i saw the ceremony on video..]
the EL-LENIK spirit WILL rize up again, no matter how hard some people try otherwise.. -----------------------------------------

Man you should chill out a bit.
This is not a thred opened about daskalaki aggelopoulou, (and whats all this faz about her kind?) we just reffered to them as a joke and it doesn't mean that we believed it. You do understand it. Don't you?
Nor we are trying to make an online protest gathering about the athina 2004 committe. This sort of discussion doesn't belong to the forum, and this community anyway.
We are trying to keep the thred ontopic, and the reason for saying you should respect something, is because we want to keep a low tone in the discussion. Nor you think that by yelling to each other and upsetting everyone will give some short of an answer, to the topic? Quite the contrary.
Take a read to the Guidelines of the forum, they are here to help. And if someone is violating them, then prove them with a reasonale argument.
Now I understand that you are a new user to the forum, and maybe you are falling to some mistakes, but that also means that you should be cautious of what you are saying. This is very important.
And to give you an answer on the last line (although it is an offtopic issue, <--- and watch this!) maybe the people you are reffering to, to be against the rize of the hellenic spirit are not entities, but simply bad conditions in many aspects of the everyday life in greece.
(what you call rize of the [E] spirit: I call people trusting their feet, with ideals, that are not solving their problems by fucking everyone & everything else around them, in the name of their ego, and failure to understand that they are not alone in this world)
