still can't forget you having big fun below alenbi, at the underground party there, to old matsuri stuff, was experimental for me, with all the narco/alchoholics around us, you remember that one for shure, only thing that make me leave is that evil guy with the guitar, who try to putt live set there???

Whoa, I have been away for TOO long.
I explored some refereshing experiences on my flesh.
I also reduced the trance tracks on my comp and increased the number of genres on it.
I began listening to Metal, Black metal, trip-hop, rock and classic rock.
And frankly, I enjoy all of these the same manner as I enjoy psytrance.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Interest too.
And I'm intersnted in all that is beautiful to me, and there are some psy-trance trax which I always, ALWAYS, get the shivers with.
and there's quite a number for these kinda trax.
And i also got that in other genres, I listen to what I like, nuffin too specific.
When someone mentions psytrance in a not so very flattering connotation, I seriously get hurt, as if I were the artists themselves.
I still reckon psytrance is a beautiful, interesting, unique music, and I do feel emotions in it, unlike most of the people.
Anyways, sorry about the rambling.
And yes, it is getting boring a little, it starts repeating itself like most genres.
All in all, just listen to what u love --
there's nuffin wrong w/ that, whether it's psytrance or any other genre.

its one of the only perfect albums ever released,
its a dram & bass/trip hop/dub masterpiece as a whole record ,its anything but trance .. enjoy |

most of the trance is getting minimal..
an example: Twisted - Unusual Suspects compilation.
most of the compilation is simon.
but where is the twisted psychedelic hallucinogen sounds??
this album sounds minimal and the kicks sound like they were done in an eJay program.
this album is not so good |

ahhh.... i try to take comfort in knowing it's a passing phase, i've been there once or twice since i started going to parties myself.
maybe i got bored and didn't have any patience for new interesting stuff. i dunno, something did happen since trance became a "scene" and not a pure gathering of people listening to new electro ideas.
but IMHO, it rules.... ;) |

I think it is interesting that no one said here that maybe some of the reasons to the "boring" thing is the lack of texts.
Music can express some deep feelings and thoughts better then words. Texts can express some other, better then music. Sometimes no words are needed, sometimes no music is needed but sometimes the combination of music and texts and the synergy btw them create magic.
If you are looking for psy texts + music start at the roots: Grateful Dead.
P.S. If there are threads that discussed the (sometimes a little problematic) lack of texts in trance I'll be grateful to get the links. |

..Not the mention the human voice. The emotional reaction to human voice is in our genes. We are conditioned to react to the voice of our mother. Some of my best trance experiences are due to a sentence or a monolog I heard in a party. |

i dont miss the text...trance doesnt need extensive text .....thats the difference between trance and music with text.....the connection u feel with the lyrics u feel with the beat...the beats guide ur emotions!!
