Trance is getting boring...

Darshan... im just like you, i mean, i dont pass a day without listening to some old tracks. For me they still do it more then the new kinda trance...
i think thats maybe the reason that ron's getting bored of listening to trance nowdays. Alot of ppl compare the old goa tracks to the new sound and they get to this conclusion that the new sound is boring and stuff...
Well, what you should do is taking a brake for sometime (i mean stop listening to trance music), then after a few days play a track that you really like, and see if it still does it for ya.

impossible to call this trance , is not like to what it was five year's ago .

well i agree that trance is gets boring sometimes. Its always fun when the scene is having a drastic change. when the leaders of the trance scene changed from transwave, astral, mfg, green nuns, tsuyoshi to IM, GMS, Talamasca, Absolum, it was fun to see all the new changes in style and music. Right now we dont have too much of the change its still GMS, Talamasca, Absolum, and maybe a few new comers. Maybe a new era in trance will get a few people back. GOA to PSY to who knows what will be next.
For those who feel bored of trance i suggest you listen to other genre`s of music. Thats what i do when im bored of trance. I listen to hip hop, rock, classic, jazz all sorts of music. after a while i start missing the vibes of psy trance and i always come back.

if the trance music dont work on you anymore try to listen some good progressive house like :
nukem - chab - marc o tool - john creamer & stephane k - friskoboy - lexicon avenue - dj gogo and many others...
listen the prog-house like a break from trance and then come back man :) |

well its true trance is not what it used to be...
but u cant expect that it will stay the same all the time...
thing are changing thats the nature of this planet.
i flow with the change...kinda love lots of new stuff that happen today.
if u look for soul in trance i say...FREE FORM.
great compilations that u can still hear the soul...
and its great to hear at home. |

Like Eyal Yankovich once told me, Trance is just a phase. some people grow out of it faster than others. if someone thinks trance is boring, it's his feelings. if you are not bored - fine. |
