My recommend is that you just fade out of trance music and it will be back to you...meanwhile you can listen to
DUB, JUNGLE, DRUM & BASS, JAZZ, TRIP-HOP....
and more cool and atmospheric stuff !!!! |

the trance gener is under heavy selectivity..
that too much selection gave birth to the minimal / progressive gener. i dont say that thats bad.. but that less better than the
goa-trance gener.:( |

Well I think this thread is really pointless - Why and how is trance getting boring?
In fact I think its evolving more and more - israeli music is going new places with Lish, Hujaboy, Insect Sun etc.
Also, it's all "in the brain", by posting it here - its not going to make the music any better or worse for you.

Artists like Astral-Projeciton, Simon Posford, Infected Mushroom, brought new light to trance every time trance became boring. What we need are new artists that will make guniess music, music that one more time will make people jump of their sits when they hear their tracks. Sure there are many new talented artists, but basically they recycle others style, thats what makes trance boring. |

hi,
i've een listening to trance music since 92, and indeed, it began to be boring. moreover, i never listen to trance music came after 98, cause since then ( the time of eyal barkan and the wave of shitty djs like dikovsky ) it became ugly. it happened because today the requierment for intelligent music does not plays a role, so as you know, each track since than seem to be the same as the track before. however, there are still some djs who play different trance music even today, such as "californa sunshine", and other djs from www.mp3.com. I am still listening everyday to tracks form 1992, i like that even today.

personaly, i think "pigs in space" is a masterpeice, and many ppl think like me too...

the point is that you got to respect everyone even if you dont like the music they make.

As for me reffix PSY is concerned not only Trance music but also some other kinds of it.
Sometimes its worth trying one of them.
On the way of creating your own athmosfere it's sometimes possible to jump into silence.
Trance is really becomming not dull exactly , but poor and its difficult to find diamonds among those crisp stones.
Sometimes i think it's changing accordingly to social life - becoming faster and less emotional. But the situation has its own advantages- it helps cach ap with reality making you move=) |
