For more info on psytrance in or around China, Hong Kong & Taiwan, you can visit www.datuanjie.com who have been building the scene to get more & more members from the chinese origin.
There is also a party happening this Saturday in Hong Kong though with Loopus (from Loopus in Fabula) playing a Live+DJ Set!!

I was in Beijing for the last chinese new year, Jan.29th and went to an awesome little psytrance party at a club called inner affair, but the club has changed names since. anyways was a great party, two djs from belgium and one from france, i believe the one from france is based in shanghai these days though i dont remember his name. The party was almost enitrely foreigners with about 10chinese who really didnt seem to have much of a clue. But places like shanghai and beijing are bringing more and more electronic djs out these days so i would imagine its only a matter of time before trance makes its way. |

If regular parties kick off somewhere it will be Shanghai for sure..so many foreigners..only a matter of time
As for other places...Dalian has many Russians and Israelis and is a very cool and beautiful place..maybe a small scene can develop there:) Theres even a place where cars can roll uphill if you put them in neutral in the right spot (earth magnetism or something)...ask a taxi-driver, they can show you 
We are trying to get small parties happening in Changchun as well (also a respectable ammount of foreigners, mainly Germans, Brazilians, Russians and Americans due to teaching and car industry) but will still be some time before it can really take off...but beware..the MANCHURIAN PSYTRANCE EXPERIENCE is bound to kick in sooner or later...
Cant some Russians put on a good festival in Vladivostok pls? Isnt that far away
