Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say "trance is raves, blotters and hippies" - I said it's a fussion of the cultures. Psychedelia, outdoor parties, freedom, and some good fun too. Is that a bad description?           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

The "Trance Culture" 4 me is nth! there is no such thing 4 me... i love the music, i love going2 a party and digg as hard as i can, i love 2 sit next 2 the dancefloor and look at people gettin' crazy on it! I love UV lights, i Love TurboSounds, I love CDJ 100, I love the sand in the nature and i love the green surroundings even more! i love all the colors that u c in the parties, i love 2 meet my friends in parties, i love 2 c familiar faces! i love 2 just sit and talk 4 hours about the music, the artists, the sounds and every thing! But this is not a culture, its a way of living!
I know that i probably still went 2 bed at 20:00 when u people started ravin' (and i dont even want 2 talk about your start in Metzada Shahar...heheh) but i must say that i love what i c 2day in some parties, and i dont care if the parties in 1997 were better, i live now and i have fun now, Period!!!!!!!

Even if one had tried it, no way to put it better...And I share that view...But that´s plain hedonism.

The old goa scene might be coming to an end but there will always be those who try to keep the old spirit of GOA.
Trance changes as time changes, We have high tech VJ`s, high tech equip, better sounds.
The important thing is to keep the spirit yourself.

Hedonism is only one part of the rave culture - but that's not 100% true - PLUR is definately ideology - and unless you don't believe in that (and ignore the fact that a lot of people do), that's something more than hedonism. The fact that yes - we do talk for hours about the music, that in 99% of the outdoor parties there's a chillout tent/area (depending on the season) with chai where you can do that freely, the way people dress colorfully. The line of people watching the sunrise (or smoking from a chillum in that time), a lot of other things that can be explained as each person doing what he wants to do - but then again, trance culture is not about what you're told to do, it's about like minded people doing what they think is right.

You may just not see it that way, because people don't tend to categorize themselves as part of anything (then again, so did hippies, and we categorize them all the time). BUT WE ARE. The fact that it's a lot of fun is not totally beside the point, but rather irrelevant to this conversation.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
