What city in the world is connected to Trance more then any other for you??
There are lots of parameters: access to outdoor parties, clubs, artists, music labels and shops, popularity of trance in the local population, general athmosphere, drugs friendly athmosphere etc
so, what city is it for you?
For me there are two cities:
Hamburg, Germany for the following reasons:
lots of action in the scene - labels, artists, clubs. Close to VooV, Close to Skandinavia, the harbour, a little criminal athmosphere.
Bat-Yam, Israel for the following reasons:Tel Aviv is too superficial, the beach, lot of people like trance, close to all the Israeli big clubs, rent is not expensive(as well as other things), very user-friend if you know what I mean, nice real people, PLUR atmosphere

Definitely not Beer Sheva.
The trance scene here concludes in 1 store, where the man knows something about trance and 2 music instruments shops, where some artists work.

Well Mike Beer Sheva gave us some really good artists: Future Prophecy, BLT and there are more but i don't remember...

london without a doubt...
psy is not the largest underground scene here, but it is a pulsing undercurrent for sure ...

Well have to aggree with the British guys here.
London has a great history not only in Trance but in electronic music in general.
After London i guess Tel Aviv and some German cities follow.
Athens is developing at the time.Many people listen to trance and we have some specialized trance shops like Space Om and Discobole.
Many many parties also

well you can almost call Japan a trance country, with all the parties going on all over this big island! We have labels in Tokyo, parties everyday, Trance shops everywhere. This place is turning to commercial for me!
My biggest suprise last week, I saw a commercial on TV for SUN PROJECT "Live". My goodness this is turning pretty bad! |
