Trance has surely changed my life too. And ppl who denies this fact probably donot enjoy the music as much as i do 
Although i am passionate for music right from birth.. everyone is may be.. yet Trance has also made me realise the beauty of all other music.. Music is devine.
I am around with lotta nontrancer collegues here who have nothing to say but bitch about the music.. but i just feel sad for them.. coz they are not aware how much i enjoy this music.. and they cant..  and moreover i also enjoy any other music that they play.. whereas they cant enjoy my music because of their forceful obsession for the kind of music they listen to. sad sad.. hehe
and hey Nokia .. that namuh theory is not certain so dont freak out much

Trance, [especially goa] was a tool... where most other forms of music are not. Classic goa trance was made for a reason, and that was to explore your mind, to drop out of reality for those few moments, or few hours, and take a snapshot of another perspective.
Unfortunately , I can not say the same about modern psydance. |

Trance, and especially psytrance is a type of music very hard to connect to, which explains the low number of listeners worldwide, not including Israel in which it is already mainstream music.
Psytrance is a small genre which noones cares about, like small countries such as Brunei for example (sorry Chobo  ).
Saying that it's better than other genres is simply elitism and having a high ego "we're psytrancers  ".

Before i got into psy i use to listen to Club Trance and i really liked it, but ones i was introduced into the universe of psy ohhhhhhhhhh my God my life changed so much and for good...
And i dont use drugs... just the music.....

interesting point this - i think trance has definately had a shift from being "mind music" of the Goa Progression to "body music" of the late ninetys, for sure.
However newer psy trance by certain labels/artists, for me, is both mind&body music!! ITS SPIRIT MUSIC !!

forsure trance is the soundtrack of my life
all events in my life are related to some particular trance track, and as music producer i try to put all my feeelings in my music, sadness, angry, joyness, etc...
the main reason i like trance is beacuse of that, i cant find any other music genere that can touch my soul as trance does....

Psy trance is definetly my home turf... I 1st experienced it an outdoor party in the bush in australia about 10 years ago. Since then, its the only call my feet will answer to on the dancefloor. I have a cd collection bursting at the sides with over 200 psy-trance albums.
If I have my way.. My funeral will be a psy-trance party! (not that its going to happen for a long time yet) |

I feel there's a lot of great music out there, but I just want to listen to Psy. It's who I am and what I do. I love listening to it all day, especially on travels. I makes me smiley, it relaxes me when I'm emotional, it makes me wanna dance when I'm tired and ready to go to bed. Psy is basically what created my personality. |
