Tracks that demand a GREAT soundsystem

Okay I have this friend who keeps bragging about the soundsystem he installed in his car. He asked me to test it out with some nice tunes. So now I've turned to you in hope that you could recommend me some tracks that are really demanding for the speakers. Please notice that I wrote DEMANDNING, and with that I don't mean "a tune that you think is good and therefore you like to play it out loud". What I mean is tunes with lots of flipping clear sounds, maybe deep bass and so on. Let's make this a thread with no tracks that would sound anything but awfull on a pair of lousy computerspeakers

And if the songs also are good it'll make me 2x as glad

Let me start:
Bus - 4 those about 2 trance (All those cool sounds must be nice on a pair of goody speakers)

Spirallianz - Hide and Seek

Etnoscope - Sunrise

Psykovsky - Lastbus Madrus

ummm, maybe those songs are far less demanding than tracks you've got on your mind. Come on freaks, bring them on

hey one more thing... I'm specially looking for tracks that sound very 3D. You know, with crystalclear psychedelic sounds that sound as if they're moving from one speaker to another. One example (except Bus - 4 those about to trance) is the 5th track on Exaile:s album "Hit The Machine", the track called "let loose". After about 3:05 in that track are some very clear sounds that should sound awesome on good speakers. Unfortunately the rest of the track isn't as demanding I think

You are 100% right about Etnoscope. They really have this massive sound.
Anything by Son Kite, Simon Posford, Tristan, Sub6 and especially Prometheus sound like it was meant for big setups.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Great examples there man. When you mentioned prometheus I instantly came to think about "ok computer". Another example should definately be X-Dream's album irritant. Hmm I'll see what more I can find in my own and friends' CD-collections. Time to head to school now...

The entire Unusual Suspects compilation is an example of tracks that some people didn't like at low volumes (for the shallow reason of "I don't like the kicks")... on PA systems though, I've never heard anyone say that the sound was less than amazing.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Osom - Over Game
Kindzadza - Coming Soon
Psykovsky - Golden Green Shit
On a good sound system i bet these tracks would be so powerfull...
When i play them in my car, i find myself suddenly driving 130 kmh and banging my head and the sound system in my car sucks

You should try this one: Technossomy - Pyramid. It's an oldie, but definately a goodie!!           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

If you're gonna test speakers, use Yello
Also put some gabber on, that'll make your friend think twice about letting you his sound system.           ________________________

good car stereos demand pounding beats, strong basslines and the 3d psy-sounds that honguito talks about. i would personally use something that was made for the dancefloor because that's where the powerful sound systems are. probably astrix, IM, exaile and hallucinogen.

but there is nothing, absolutely nothing, like listening to exaile's "radio edit" through some harman/kardon soundsticks. scary. very, very scary           waltzing @145bpm
