have you ever dreamt that youre either hearing or composing a track in your dreams?

has anyone been able to actually do something with that? somehow either compose it if youre talented or being able to at least capture it in someway... was the memory ever vivid? distinct? lucid?

does it ever recur?

yes...it has already happened 2 me....and really feeling it...i was like i was in a studio working in a track, and i was reaaly composing it @ that time....but as i dunno much about prodution, it stayed 4 a dream...
but i see things thix way....who doesn´t dream, don´t have 2 much in his/her life...and i do believe, that sometimes producers wake up in the middle of the night...or day....with a track in their ears...and imideatly star composing it...
it´s a good inspiration....a dream of a track!           ...

Try going to sleep after a couple of nice drops....close you eyes and then attempt to sleep. You will hear music that you have never heard before, but keep your eyes closed and remember the tune and bassline (percussion can come later) cos as soon as you open your eyes, it will become silent again......next time you close your eyes, the tune will be different....

I had a lucid dream in which there was nothing but void. When I realized I'm dreaming I started to compose a tech-trance track in my head, with all kind of vague visuals.

It was a very special experience.

Sound like something that MOZART used to do (or was it Bach??) what im talkin about is something science calls 'Lucid Dreaming' and its a way in which you can activate your conscoiusness whilst asleep
what it was MOZART used it for was to compose many layers of sounds by associating many different colours to them- so that he could see the layers and compose them better!!

Ive read of a way to condition your mind to 'lucid dream' and is apparently quite simple: get this,
ok,
first off - whilst awake touch something solid - like a wall for example and then ask yourself, out loud, "Am I Dreaming"?
ok,
if you continue to do this (say, once every day) during your waking hours, at some point you will do it in your sleep
ok,
Now, when you touch a wall whilst dreaming, you'll ask youself "Am I Dreaming?". if your hand goes though the wall then your quite obviously dreaming and the realisation of this allows you to control your dreamstate - thus allowing the Lucid Dream to begin...
if that doesnt work - forget sleep - try acid - a lot of it

<<(bom)>>           It is by will alone I set my mind in
motion.
It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts
acquire speed -
The lips acquire stains -
The stains become a warning - blah, blah , blah!

i only dream melodies. i had it once that i woke up with a distinct melody in my head, and went straight to the machine to write it.
i've got much things swirling around in my head all day long, things i try to extrovert and compose a tune with, a tune prearranged in my head.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!
