I think that talent is the most important in making good psytrance... but
without equipment you can do nothing. For example, I don't have equipment even for DJing for my own enjoyment... My money can't buy even the phones... It's very expensive, you must have money to be a DJ or producer... But to be a good dj or producer you also need talent.

Full_On: i guess hardware is just a part.. many bands make their music on software and people like their music more then those who use high class hardware
no headphones will make you a good dj, but talent should help you with even chippier headphones

Well, I don´t know if TALENT is so important.... I think experimenting is one of the most important thing. I must have total control of equipments, and U don´t need to have lot of talent to do it.
Desire is a nice shoot too!!! It´s hard to understand all softwares/hardwares, so u must really want to make it! NA PAIN NO GAIN!
And fr sure a nice equipment is always welcome!!!

For me the most important of all is TIME&Desire, because..
More time you spend on something you become better with that.
To spend more time you need to have the desire to do it..
Talent is something extra which make a "good" artist to distinguishes from others "good" artists

All are equally important...
You can have talent , but not wish & power make music, and nothing will be done.
You might have talent, wish and equipment, but no time to make it and again there will be no music.....
You might have all the necessary equipment, but not talent and you will make shit music and so what, it's same like you haven't done anything because even you, the musican, wouldn't like to listen to it...
You might have time, but not wish& power to make music, and again nothing.....
And so on and on......
The conclusion is that all of that is necessary...

when you don't have talent , your music will sound like shit!
you should have :
1. talent & composing attraction
2. software/hardware
3. knowledge !!
4. time
5. imagination and everything else is necessary!
I stopped compose music since "fast tracker" was superannuated and I don't have time to learn cubase and other stuffs..
