Swamp Thing...it's obnoxious, enormous, outrageous.
What a monstah track...well, I'm all about that one at the moment...I've been all about, Hobbledehoy and Off Kilter.
It goes like the wind...huge album...really, totally mindblowing in terms of production, creativity and beauty, so rude.
Album of the year...no doubt about it.

this album passed the acid test too....
(someone in the room did flip out too)

Muti music is cool....but still fresh and not mature yet...
good sounds and ideas but far from the level of the "master".

Hmmm...yeah, kind off.
Si Begg, some lawgiverz, some Skeetaz, maybe a bit of Ed Chamberlain here and there, Synapse.
None of them can match the production though...but similar style in some tunes, the problem is that Tipper covers a rather wide spectrum, and it's hard to keep up if you just wanna sound like the man.

I heard a fair bit of similar stuff at Burning Man

Vibesquad sounded pretty good. Not quite this good, but good           new Hadal Drop album on the way

maux... glad to know you like tippers music. after the first listen of Viceversa the initial reaction was that this guy wishes he was tipper. now we know

to those who think this won't work within psy... their big loss boss. played a set for a trance crowd that started off with the very psybreaks styles of morphonix and the likes... progressed into outolintu and the exogenic fold and then dropped 30 minutes of tipper and se begg.

it was like watching the dancers morph from a morning groove into a quirky but powerful twilight dance and into the acidic night stomp.

Heavily Psychedelic! and there's actually enough music in there to recreate the entire night to day trance experience with only breaks. should definitely become a stage at trance festivals!

guess a lot of you know loads more about this sound... I discovered it only through the psy scene and over the last few years or so... so from a newbies point of view, all digits wayyy up! this is the glimpse of a future...Tertiary Noise is brilliant too.

Try S.O.T.E.G.

the album Digital Pump, from Bless Records, sounds quite similar to Wooble factor. It's from 2005 but still good and fresh, with the same glitchy-twisted breaks vibe

massively dissapointing

3 things (for me) that make tipper so great are
1) fucking HUGE phat dirty synth riffs (a la Relish the Trough )
2) beautifully emotive melodies (think Whomi, Over the Coals, Paperthin Reality etc etc )
3) killer sound design

all of which are missing on this release. the tracks just dont go anywhere, no story, no journey, no real riffs, no emotion, and the sound design sounds like re-hashed patches from Relish

i hope tipper finds his mojo again before the next downtempo album

Although it is well-produced music, I must agree 100%. Not that I'd want to hear another "Surrounded," but rather something new that still incorporates the old elements that made Tipper special for me. I still love working "Forty Winks" into my downtempo sets, but can't imagine listening to any of this album later down the road. It's good, but merely disposable dance music-which I listen to a whole lot of-but Tipper could do better imo.

ps-this album reminds me strongly of the instrumentals from 3dIT's "Air Raid" album mixed with Heyoka. Also reminds me of Kilowatt's live sets, except this is a little more straightforward for me.
