massively dissapointing

3 things (for me) that make tipper so great are
1) fucking HUGE phat dirty synth riffs (a la Relish the Trough )
2) beautifully emotive melodies (think Whomi, Over the Coals, Paperthin Reality etc etc )
3) killer sound design

all of which are missing on this release. the tracks just dont go anywhere, no story, no journey, no real riffs, no emotion, and the sound design sounds like re-hashed patches from Relish

i hope tipper finds his mojo again before the next downtempo album

you massively missed it !!!
if you just want a repetition of older tunes....just listen to the older releases in repeat mode...this album is moving on into a new territory,,,FINALLY........playful music...no more massive riffs (ENOUGH RIFFS) and melanconic useless melodies (KILL MELODIES)...I love it...
the sound design is amazing...
you just talk shit.

get on with the new style

I don't understand how anybody in the whole universe wouldn't find this album utterly amazing.

fair call. opinions are like assholes tho huh?

yeah obviosuly i did miss it. as i said, i just dont find a story in any of this music. so its all well and good to pioneer a new style (thats debatable), but if it doesnt touch me in any way, whats the point...

the 'new style' mid tempo bassy breaks stuff is done way better (imo) by labels like Muti Music etc.

DOV who runs MUTI said this about tipper...

"instead of just making music to make you dance, he makes "music that tells your body how to dance"

which i wholeheartedly agree with...Every track had people moving differently, very playful, like a psychedelic circus of funky clowns...

this really has to be heard on a fat system outside with people...

you will find that this is DANCEFLOOR music. that makes people shake thier asses and wobble and tilt like alien muppets.

caught him at LIB playing this stuff in front of several thousand people, and it was going off..

BASS for ages, resonating through every bone.
