So I had a lot of fun... thank you Desert, thank you Aaron.

Overall, the music sounded good, though I wish people's sets would have been longer. After struggling to stay awake on my feet during Pondscum's set, Ocelot saved the day and played proper, mental trance that I could sink my teeth into and get the old engine started...

My favorite set came from Dai. Really great style, execution, performance, vision and depth. I believe we may have created a monster.

As for the clapping, apparently different people have different takes on it. If it's only a brief gesture of appreciation, I don't see what the harm is. Certainly much stranger things happen at parties and it's not the end of the world... and no, I don't think the effect is nearly as dramatic as picking up the phone during sex

If the DJ gave you a good ride, than why not applaud him or her?

To my friends, I am deeply sorry and deeply apologize for my actions at the party.

This was an Amazing party, Awesome Artists, Incredible Vibe and I feel terrible for interfering with that but much more importantly for getting too rough in what may have been scrappin' around otherwise...I am saddened by this and am looking deep inside to deal with it and have been very focused on it ever since and remain so.

I sincerely apologize to you, who was affected directly (which I thought I did at the time but will I will try to contact you to make sure you know I feel about this), and the rest of you as well. Spyros, you were right to scold me out and I thank you for that. I took it very seriously. As you said what was horsing around, I overreacted to inappropriately which I regret. It was inexcusable, regardless of how it started.

The concept that I might have hurt another soul concerns me greatly, that's something I would never wish to do.

That's no way to be and I don't wish to be that person, anywhere, ever. I apologize to my friends and others as well.

I don't wish to detract from what was a Spectacular Event & this thread any further, so kindly feel free to email me at: greentrees@earthlink.net should you have further comment. Thank you, warmth & kindness,

Sincerely,
Jack

Jack, I for one thought your behavior was worthy of the true alcoholic spirit(s), and even a most welcome addition to the party. I am deeply saddened that you feel regretful and 'sincerely apologetic'.

Looking forward to many more drunken rages. Cheers!

That party had everything a soul could ask for.

Thanks for the beautiful memories. What a party. See you at the next X.

I really shouldnt shoot my foot while it's in my mouth.

Sorry for the ramblings, I'm glad they were purged by the admin. But I apologize for those that had to witness my naivety. Blasphemous mind altering substances! Geezus.

Back to the party... I thought the best set was definitely watching Turtle perform that crazy fusion of goa with stephen hawking or however that was on the other track. Having the beat cut in and out like that in perfect synchronous order was a funkfest. Dai definitely did it for me too, His style was superfluous and beautiful. Catalyx I enjoyed the main acts too but not as much for some reason. Ocelot rocked it surely but something felt missing towards the end. Pondscum too, He had great crisp clean sound but there were many patches I wanted to just throw a sick winding demented melody into the mix to really give it some zaz. He was a nice and mellow person too, very pleasant to talk to.

JACK! How ya doin man? My kidneys are killing me... Sorry for acting a little strange towards the end. I was getting some deja vu flashbacks. but anyways Ill Pm you soon~

Blah I'm such a freak. I really should just stop posting altogether, haha.

For some bizarre reason I thought my previous posts were deleted thats why I gave the double review. The one sentence about catalyx and something about the main acts lacking was a misstype too.

Anyway here are some pics that I thought were cool from the party:

Pondscum too, He had great crisp clean sound but there were many patches I wanted to just throw a sick winding demented melody into the mix to really give it some zaz.

why???

to make it sound like most of the generic music out these days

Why? Lots of reasons!!!

You dont like intricate melodies and harmonics fused with your bass and mid layers?

I do. And I like spumoni too!

I had no idea this style was considered generic now. Well I definitely got the memo now.

So:
Whats wrong with a little flavor?

I didnt know that only the bassline and a few mids here and there were the new 'cool sound and the most ungeneric and original psy thats available'. I could have been releasing months ago!

No Pondscum's sound isnt just the L's and M's. He has his own style very much so. But I tend to go for the sometimes soothing melodies interlaced and abound with my mostly hard bass and sick leads and riffs for my psy-tastes!

Yes I know Infected is Rubbish now. But I think they left a great template (atleast for me) for how Psy should sound (kind of, I definitely enjoy experimenting with different tastes, and Im excited for what America has in store for the next few years because if you think about it, it's our turn now!).

All in all. I LOVE ISRAELI PSY TRANCE! And always will. Someday soon Ill post all of the artists that I enjoy from Israel as well other International and US..

They do it the best, and always will (IL). Just my 2 cents again.
