Ohkay, I'm on the process to mental recovery. Just woke up from a fifteen hour nap.
What a ridiculously intense party, if only for the two hours that Xyla played. That two hours of "dancing" took more energy out of me then a Goa Gil party. I gotta say that that was by far the best thing i have EVER seen in that Mojave location (and I think I've been to every party thrown in that spot). The vampire energies could truly be felt. People always talk about so called "Trauma Trance," a term almost as bad as "Intelligent Dance Music," but Xyla's music actually has the power to recur traumatic memories and rub them out (I call this true psychedelic music).
The technical difficulties after her set provided us all with at least a minute or three of much needed SILENCE. During this time I lied down on the sand and felt completely DEAD but in a good way. I had so much new information to process and I felt outside of my body. The last place I needed to be was the dancefloor, so I pretty much missed Fria's set. I feel bad for any DJ or artist who would ever have to follow that madness though.
As for the rest of the party... we are blessed to be able to do this. Every time I go out to the Mojave it is a special, unique experience. Everywhere I look I see the perfect beauty of an awesome tribal gathering-- whether it's Bedouin's tattooed face or the raging XLR8R or flaming poi or non-stop trance dancing! We should do this every weekend.
See y'all at PsyCircle...

It's funny that I drove that whole way and slept for most of the night... but I needed it, and I slept great.
I realllllllllllllllllly enjoyed Fria's set and that small part of Dylalien's that I got to enjoy.
I also enjoyed playing for the 3.5-4hours @ the chill-that-turned-psy area.
Before everyone gets all uppity and shit, let it be known that I did play a tremendous amount of chill-out before I played the few psy tracks that I did.
The group of wonderful folks and friends that were there enjoying my set asked for more (Thank you for the overwhelming positive feedback and comments,,, you gave me just enough energy for the ridiculously stupid and ill-fated ride back home)
Sorry if there were any qualms b/c of this.
Lastly,
There was definitely a ginormous amount of Vampiric sorcery going on in that desert. Some spooky freakin shit to say the least. I could feel it in my sleep and I could taste the residue in the morning. Which makes me glad I wasnt awake for the feast b/c my mind and soul cannot afford to fall under any more spells.
Vampires,
I'm sure you dined like gods. There was a lot of unseen blood spilled at those sites.
Survivors,
How's your head feeling? lol
/rant off.

This was one of the best parties I've ever been to. It was incredible!!!!
The Kali ceremony was beautiful, thanks to all those who participated, and Meagan those were some beautiful words!!!! It was the perfect way to start the evening.
Magnolia was freaking awesome!!!!!! Great track choices, great tempo hahahah , you set the mood, or my mood for the whole night - Dark, twisted, and wacky. Greenman kept me going with awesome tracks - I was tired after the first two hours jajaja Thanks you guys, big huggggzzzzzz.
I rested for a bit, but listened intently and bobbed my head for quite a bit. Xyla was ver y nice and dark just how I like it. Fria was great!!!! Wow! All I can say. As the sun came up , I danced like there was no tomorrow. Then Dylan kept me dancing till I turned into the tomato I am today.
Catalyx - GOOD JOB!!!!!! We need more parties like this one.

great event, was nice to experience the mojave once again, this is the best time of year to go when the weather is most mild.
they had a bit over a hundred people or so, nice family vibe. it was kinda annoying that the sound started late, but at least it went on. typical of most desert parties it seems.
as for the music......well.....my fav sets were from magnolia, greenman, dylalien, and dai, these artists were just kickin ass all over the place. fria's set was great the last hour or so, but otherwise it was far too minimal for me, she would have sounded better earlier in the night. the other djs/artists sets were just shit as far as I'm concerned, but that's just my opinion, I'm more into trippy style music.
it was cool to chill and talk with fria at skip's afterparty, she is an amazing person!
