F***ing economic crisis is being used as an excuse for all sorts right wing policies to be enforced, read the other day Denmark was sending out of the country convicted people that weren't born there.

Ahhh it's not just economics, Australia has always had an underlying racist subculture that was exploited by one of our previous Prime Ministers John Howard through the use of boat people, whom he labelled "queue jumpers".

It became very political, and one of the biggest issues was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_Overboard_Affair this.

Our government still insists that off shore processing, or a people swap with a country like Malaysia (where the refugees have no rights or protection) is the best way to go.

Even tho most of the population here want them to be processed on shore withing our community which would cost less and increase employment for us and overall is much more humane.

It is now the reason why next election neither of the two major political parties will get my vote, and I doubt I'll ever vote for them again in this life           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

Regretfully, we've suffered under the influence of a far right party as a member of the coalition government we've had for the last 10 years in Denmark. Thankfully we've just gotten a new government, and things will start to change for the better I hope. At the very least, in terms of rolling back several of these xenophobic policies...

That being said, it's not like if you're not born here, you get tossed out for convicting a crime, certain other factors have to play in as well, but either way, it's pretty fucked... Soon to be changed though!           www.soundcloud.com/vonoom | www.vonoom.bandcamp.com | www.facebook.com/vonoom | www.flikflakfamily.com
