Goabase is also a good source for parties all over the world. Check out the upcoming spanish parties here:

the scene in Spain continues to develop slowly. The vibe in the parties is always good but someitmes the production is not as "high" level as other countries....but we are working on it...

Spain rocks big time, sun, good weather, great food, wine, good vibe...The scene is not going slowly at all,as a matter of fact the development it´s may be a little bit to fast.
The day that we reach the "high production levels" of other countries...we´ll be fucked.

I think it is fair to say that high production levels combined with good vibes and people, nice sun, wine etc. generally make for a kicking party. I don't think that small, cheap, badly maintained sound systems, no deco, no chill out, photocopied flyers makes for a very healthy scene. Not sure Justin Chaos that you could say it is "going to fast"....these problems still exist in the MAJORITY of one night parties made by the collectives here except maybe in Vilafranca (www.virusnetcafe.com). Much of the attitude of the people in Spain to making parties is passive. Everyone knows that the people will enjoy it whatever so they don't bother to make an effort for the people coming. In reality as I explained the secret lies in giving those happy people an incredible experience....not a half hearted effort to give some local DJs a chance to inflate their egos a bit more. I believe you are in Brasil at the moment Justin and so are experiencing, for the first time, trance outside of Spain, and perhaps you might see there are other ways to make a party.
I love the scene here in Spain- for the people more than anything...well problem at the moment is there isn't very much more......yet......

I live in Ibiza and I can assure you there are parties every week, some underground blasting ones, almost all in summer.

Ethnicanet - more details please!

Are you saying regular nights at Privilege? That's one awesome venue. And all the fuss last summer with the police closing small, more underground venues (like Kumharas) - what's the latest news?

And these outdoor parties, my experience is that they are very secret and the locals don't want outsiders there at all, please tell me that its going to change.

ps still enjoying Macao Cafe Ver 4, thanks.
