Hi all,
So I read the previous thread about the situation of women in trance and it was very interesting to read the various thought posted by you ppl.
I am opening this new thread because I want to bring up some other sub-subjects of that thread, which are:
1.Why is women less represented in the Trance scene than in the other music scenes, (in the crowd aspect this time)?
2.How can we bring more women to the parties, in other words how can we lift their percentage to a normal amount?
I mean how many of you went to parties and found out that less than 30% of the ppl are women!!

Well trance is a more agressive music than other styles
Take house for ex, it's a very sexy music, and that appeals to women
In the trance scene, those who go raving know that there's no sex appeal in the music. You usually don't dance in a sexy way, but in a more "tribal" way.

And still ppl in trance are much much better than in house or what ever. it is true that the music is not sexy but it is well known that the sexiest body part is the brain and trance is aiming exactly for that (like also the drugs).
and from expirience making love to a good fullon track is much better than a progresive house or what ever...[color=Purple][/color] |

a phenomenon I have noticed, I'm not sure about so please don't attack.
There are woman that prefer mans company, and can not really stand other woman. My thoughts about this kind of women I'll keep to myself (this is not a psychology forum) but you can meet then in trance parties. |

ok. for sure the people in this forum who have been to japan, know that there are loads of women at the parties. and i must say if you are looking for the finest looking women in japan go to the psychedelic parties(dont just go for the women though, go for the music). Theres tons of models and nice bodied women there. everywhere you look. I am sure any artist who has been here will agree. so i doubt women are unfairly represented in japan. |

Not only are the women trancers in Japan well represented and often physically gorgeous,
many of them trance and trip as hard or harder than the men. Most women trancers here, like most of the men I should add,
have hearts made of gold.
I guess it's changing now as trance is becoming extremely popular in the mainstream
- too many go for a fashion show.
