trance is VERY alive. :)

yes, you may not see how trance is alive in your own country and we can always say "ah, it isn't what it used to be 5-10 years ago.." but overall there's one big vibe that unites many ppl all over the world and it's the love for trance.

in Sola Luna I saw the proof of it and it was so beautiful... many ppl all over the world - from greece, australia, belgium, lebanon, hungary, france, sweden, japan, germany and many more just gathered together and the trance united everyone. what a vibe!!!it looked like one big happy familiy speaking the same language which is trance.

so just remember that what happens in your, our country is just a very small part of the trance scene itself. overall it's alive & kickin'. :)

ammmm...

many thing to say....:)

well holland is well known as house lover not trance...and its not something new
and belgium known as a trance lover

about trance is dead....

well its not dead its changing tough..
u cant expect that it will be the same like 5 years...

but i agree about some of the stuff in israel:
well its hard to find really good parties this days when there is feeling of unity between ppl..
its not what its used to be
and the drugs are not that good
but once in a while u go to a great party
with lots of drugs and than u know why u love this scene.
but what can u do
guess the time of ganei huga is gone
if u make huga 2 u see what happen....
time is changing....

Trance is not dead, it's just not 100% underground like it used to be.

The people make music which is technically very proffesional (hasn't developed all that much in the last 2 years), and tRe: the trance is dead

Well,i´m a bit disappointed to see after a great trance party/festival summer i´ve had that ppl still think trance is dying or dead !!Well it´s very much alive, the problem is that it´s more commercial and there are more parties and festivals happening and ofcourse from the 50 the 20 are good, the thing is which one of the parties were you at the 20% or the other 30%!!!
There are good drugs and bad, good ppl and bad ppl the thing is dont waste your time trying to look for faults at the parties, i´ve done that and it really put me off the party scene for a while, but then i said "what the fuck! the music is good " and my friends are great, partying along with me so lets party!!! And fuck the rest of the minor details!!!!

Ill just like to add a new perspective regarding the trance SOCIETY in israel rather then trance MUSIC or its developement. The reason im not reffering to global trance is that i beilive that other then the unfortunate event that happend not so long ago teh global situation is pretty stable and good and music creation wasnt hurt all that before or after the shameful event. Israel is going threw a massive change in the last few years, especially the last year. A lot of politics and less casual life. On the other hand the definition of "arsim" if you would is A LOT diffrent than it was 3-4 years ago. when somebody describes an "Ars" today he describes him by his appearance and not like 4 years ago where he would describe him as a violent person. The facts are that the israeli society is MUCH less violent like a few years ago and we might have a lot of violence with our naighbours, but i guess that as Israeli jews we are pretty united and overall there is not much violence around like we used to talk and hear of a few years ago. Im proud to say that the PLUR related scenes such as trance are much of an assist to this current situation, the ppl we reffer to as arsim might like our music, but they also connect to our culture and affected by the good vibes and therefor start to realize violance is stupid. The music doesnt die, nor does the scene. The saddening fact is that Parties must be VERY underground in order to succee and thereforea lot of us miss this or that party.

I may not hear about 90% of the parties like i used too last year (orginaizers are much more careful this year, so ive noticed) but many of the parties i do hear and attend to are very successful. Overall the world, especially Israel are going threw a change, a change that includes everything - even art (aka music). I hope we can all look forward positvly and expect a great change and not look in retrospect and define the past years as the "better years" like an old bunch of hippies =).

On another remark id like to say that i beilive that this centurie's "60s" are going to be a lot earlier than that last centuries period if you know what i mean =) There are a lot of Newage-hippies nowdays and i guess im proud to be one of them, one of you =)

Good luck! Heads Up!

Bom, Gil.
