Cedric you just cant keep quiet huh?
All the best with this effort although its going to be a very very difficult task since most tracks are registered or something and there are going to be royalties and copyright issues i guess.
Plus the list seems to be endless already so a lot of time will be needed in order to contact all these people and labels.
Worths all the time and effort though.
Just remember one track that for me had a huge impact on the scene and i consider it a gold classic although its not either pure psytrance or goa track,that is Purple & Lunar-Subtle Thrust and i can get you in touch with Richard if you need it,i guess he will be happy to provide it.
Same with all Wizzy Noise tracks.

hey, very agressive project I think it will have great impact on the future releases.
This is all about redefining music biz. We have more direct relation between producer and listener.
We have a choice for getting rid of some intermediary people for selling our work and we have an alternative for promotion other than unscruple ego traders; and we still can have some money out of this? I am in, well when I finish cooking my sound  .
Thx Cedric for taking shots, you may become rich with this, but i do not mind since you are having a groundbreaking idea here, helping the upcoming artists.
I am registering myself and i have found this nice GetAFix track here, it is a good surprise....
hey also for those getting paranoic , I have not personal relation with cedric or getafix
so this is not prepayed propaganda,
it is just a personal word from a hot upcoming not lazy mexican artist

Honnestly, if oneday i become"rich" with this, itwouldbe onlybecaus epeople will buy my music there...not because they buy yours or anyone else....i know it is hardto believe, but i don't take any commissions on the sells...really..it is maybe not the right place to discuss about it, but now thatyou bring the subject to the table, i need to clarify it...go and check the www.digitaldeejay.com website..youwill see that it is the sameconcept, samesystem, and same conditions !!! i just contacted the guy who own the systyem because i know him very well (he was part of talamasca 12 years ago...) and i just asked him to make the same site for trance...and then, i told him that i will useall my contacts to make it works...i know tat he s not taking a lot at all once you substract the 20,6% of the VAT tax, then he have to pay the sacem to get the rights to diffuse music on internet, and then the space of the site, and i tink we will need a looot of space..then, the webmaster to pay...so if you are good in math, you will see that there is almost nothing left, and that is because ofthis that i am sure that nobody else is giving 70%...
Now, ofcourse, i don't do this only for "the spirit" ....if the site is successfull, then it will be good to sell my music there...and once again, i had 40000 downloads of my last album that i did put for free on www.mindcontrolrecords.com/free.html , so if half ofthosepeople will buy mynextalbum, eve for one euro, it would be more than ok for me...i hope you understand my point of view...but i don t want any missunderstanding here...i made this site because i am tired that so many websites are making money on my back by selling my tracks when they don t have the rights too...and i don t want to become one of them...i wanted originally to use this system for the mindcontrol webite, ormymyspace page, but i understood also that a "trance specialised" website ismuch more efficient than just a "label" website to sell my music...once again, sorry to insist, but my goal isto make money on mymusic, not on yours....
DETOX : yes, you re right...ofcourse i can not stand quite ! ahaha....are you surprised ??  and yes, you are rght...the BIIIIG problem here with this idea is the copyrights and royalties....but if we are speaking about "old tracks", 99% of the contracts made before 2002 are not speaking aboutdigital sells....then, 75% of those labels we arespeking about (blue room, matsuri, flying rhino...etc...) they have closed looong time ago, so the rights came back to the artists, even if they don t know about it....
So yes, the only real hard thing is to reach those guys...but that s why also i came here...to make a buzz about it, andthen, from mouth to ear.....ehehe....speak soon |

Thx Cedric for clarify this, and are very good news that you do not take royalties...i didnt read the contract very well, but if you take a percent i think artist like me would not mind because you are giving so much to the artist and you have to cover daily expenses.... but for now lets put aside that money thing i think it is great not taking comissions.
plz do not misunderstood me; I understand what you are doing here and really appreciate what you are doing. In my last post i said this was a groundbreaking idea not because you sell music on the net like other places, but because you with the name Talamasca are a trance artist we respect and you literally "grab your nuts" and say hey lets stop the bullshit and worked on this "trance specialised" site that i agree it is going to make a difference because it is driven by someone with experience in trance biz and with spirit on trance scene.
So this is rather good
Lets do some math 40000 * 1 euro = 40000 instant euros, f**k I am in again
