Its been like this for ages with 99,5% of this scenes top artists and labels. They are all stars - according to themselves. Indeed lame to say the least

This. In the grand scheme of all things promotional, that mailing is not so bad. Have you not seen the ridiculous ego-inflating bios of all sorts of psytrance acts???
Of course, we would prefer our 'stars' to be as ego-less and humble as possible...but we can't have everything we want, can we
