Yes I did try searching for a while, but do you think that people feel like selecting every freaking category and perform a billion and one searches while it's so much easier to just post a straightforward question. Also when topics are locked because of reasons like this imo it would be in good manner to atleast link to the thread the mod was talking about..

Why not make it so that you could atleast search all the forums parts with one search?
And what do you think about the mod who locks a topic atleast giving a link to the previous thread instead of taking a shit..

im a mod so i can search all sections.i guess it could be very usefull,though im sure theres a good reason it doesent work at the moment.
about putting the link when a topic is locked,well maybe you are right.or maybe ppl just wont learn that way if we make their life so easy.

It would be very useful to search all the sections.. Anyways not everyone comes here every day/week/month. It's a bit of a pain to search posts worth 30 days from 5 different sections.

Yes but they're here daily so they remember that stuff. Also it's a great help if you can do one search instead of trance, artist & dj, promotional, godknowswhat..

Interesting... I'm an admin and I can't search all forums.
We had to disable that feature of searching all forum, and we can't re-enable it for now. I'm sure an active veteran user (such as traveller) knows in which sections to look for when searching.

It's not the mod's job to find those topics for you. Mod's are here to help, guide, watch, not to be babysitters or servents.

i do agree its kinda lame searching single sections, was much easier when we could search all sctions at one go ....but as isra is a adfree forum i think its ok to save server resources and save down on costs .....
common these guys are paying from their own pockets ...
