An exemple, as the legend wants it, is Bill Gates and the Microsoft company: It's said that they invented their solutions after taking LSD, and that the microchip was also invented this way: the LSD permitted people to connect and imagine the microscopical world in details.
These were real psychedelic ambassadors, and they changed the world. Anybody using a microchip in anyway is using a LSD-induced invention. Spooky, hu? |

ganja my man, u really honestly do NOT make any sense. according to u, there is the 'real trance ppl' (what a load of bs) who are different but undeffineable, and the rest of the world's population who are just the ordinary siners or the 'new trancers'.....?!?!?!!!
in relation to the undescribable feelings and experiences that make one a 'trance person', as u mentioned earlier...just want to ask u how can it be that a PERSONAL 'feeling' u cant describe yourself is experienced by the other so called 'true trancers'?
as far as my opinion is conserned...
'real trance ppl' are those who consider themselves as such, those who praise themselves above the others in terms of their trance music 'knowledge'...in other words, they r egoistic elitists that like to be categorised with an idealised status which they dont seem to realise how stereotyped it is. they are ppl whose abilities in showing their personal values and skills in the real every-day world are defficient, so they seek for an easy boost of their fragile ego by overestimating the meaning of their seemingly eccentric and 'endless guru-knowledge' related to trance music.
its so easy to be a psichedelically&spiritually correct 'real trance person'.....and ooh how much I deslike them and/or being one myself.
why aiming to become(or define) the 'real trance person' when u can just enjoy yourself for the reason u actually like being involved with this music (whether thats the sounds, parties, drugs, ppl.. doesnt really matter)

I just buy my music,enjoy it at home and clubs without taking any substances,spread the music to my friends who are into other kinds of music,travel abroad for parties and keep in touch with other people all around the world that listen to this music,keep getting informed on our small scene through magazines and the internet and sing Purple And Lunar-Subtle Thrust every time i take a shower.
Am i psychedelic enough?

The "real" psytrance sociaty doesnt geek on forum boards, I can tell you that. The "real" psytrance sociaty doesnt even know the names of all the music they listen to is, they just find tripperfriendly music and go with that on their trips. The "real" psytrance people looks more like trolls and elfs. Stomping and pumping to a magical sound.
the real psytrance society is dead, but still alive, hidden.

The thread should not be called like this because it makes trance people look like some higher kind of people while all we are talking about here is the usual difference between people in music tastes and life! The real pystrance people, the enlightened ones or something hehehehe I do not agree with this kind of thinking at all...but what is true is that Trance people are different than the people going to a festival today! That's for sure!

IMHO The real trance ppl live in the Amazonia, Africa, Asia in small tribal gatherings... They are ppl who have embrace this way of living for thousands of years. Ppl who like in the here and now and who have an spiritual connection to their surroundings. And I think the Utopia for psy trancers is a balance between this incredibly successful way of living, technology and mysticism. All danced and celebrated in the shape and form of a psychedelic rite of passage.
The ppl who are true to the spirit of the trance dance experience learn an alternative perception of the universe, as senses melt down, the mind enters a hypnotic state and centers, and for a second you and everything, are one with all existence. The connection of music, meditation, spirit, trance and dance is one of the most ancient in human kind... And for me personally I am glad we can experience it.
True trancers are those who believe in our interpretation of this experience. There is no pattern, no commonality, no equation which can define it, it is as human as it gets: a feeling... a feeling that speaks truth and brings the best in ourselves.
At least this is my interpretation. |

I know for myself what psytrance is, psytrance as music and as a state of mind. And i don't know why u think i wouldn't know it, just because i see your 'real psytrancer'-statements as wrong and meaningless statements, especially coz u can't define the difference between a 'real psytrancer' and a 'fake psytrancer'.

Yes u r right, i don't understand u. And therefore u r write to me in an attacking way. Is this ur 'real psytrance'-spirit? Ok then i don't even want to be a 'real-psytrancer' at all.
U say i am new? Do u know me at least a little bit? No u don't. I am new in the scene for almost ten years and i have no clue. But i know that the way u thinking, the way in which pseudo-elitists are thinking, is not the way i want to be. And if i critize here something i do it because i think there is something wrong, u need to accept different peoples view on things and please try to view objective ur statements.
I also have to learn all the time, i am also often wrong, and i am happy if people help me with their critics.
If i critized u it wasn't a personal attack.

Detox with those post u r downgrading your status and the topic.This is not a "how psychedelic r you" topic.I can assume how much u like psychedelic trance from the quality of the EP releases and from the way u stand next to your label's Dj when he's (probably) playing your track selections but anyway ...
there are ppl out there who broke the barriers of Work all week - comes saturday - go to a party - dance - chill out - sleeep -go to work.they practice psytrance as a way of way of life and I just want to know which are their achievements till now.Is psytrance a culture based on an ethic code with principles and rituals or it's just entertainment.Is all this psytrance mummble mummble for real or we are just giving ourselves an allibi for our immature intepretation of life?
The bill Gates example is nice but not very true to my eyes . Those kind of things don't happen under the E man. It took bill gates years of learning and experimenting until he comes up with the windows concept and I don't think that Bill was a dude when he was a student.

i thought the trance community ppl have mythical appearence, they come from the woods on suterday's sunrise to give their happy n loving vibes to the world by performing their uniqe tribal ecstatic moves
just before disappearing back into the woods on sunset. (They dont have to go back to their routine and boring everydays life on sunday morning)
i think that this argument is very interesrting butt no longer relevant.
