how can a mother get sick of looking at her kids?how can you get sick of your creation?
how can you get sick of something that is a part of you....an extention of yourself?

Always always always working on new material. I don't play day after day. But if you have enough (good) tunes you can rotate them in your sets. It's good to have alternate versions with space to experiment with create loops on the fly. Using a program like Ableton Live enables many creative options.

But, yes, I get sick of my tracks, particularly the older tracks that i've heard seemingly 1000's of times. Rememeber, in the process of making a track you get to hear it over and over again- you know every nook, cranny, and crack in the track. Still there's great excitement when you play a track for the first time at a party, it's what I enjoy the most [evil grin on face].

Will not.........Cause everytime new experience with new crowd, it goes with the vibe the place the peolpe all , I always have different experiences playing my own music, but then again there is always a little new creation on the way to play , ....... unless happens like what happened to me yesterday , been working on a track for 3 weeks, and finished it yesterday to play then the cd burner died on me he he LOL ( yeah not at the time thou but anyway ) so I had to record it on a different source which quality was not so good ... but .... what to do .....

that's too bad!
there should be few reasons for that i guess

1. TRYING to create art that other artists already done (copy...), this way your destroy your soul ID and you will be disappointed no matter what.

2.too much work on the sound quality instead of the music inside/ideas.

3. broken heart

4. you know you are so damn good, and you try to do the best of the best but after awhile you think you could do it better and you get disillusion.

5. you don't like to do this kind of music.

6. you don't like to make music.

7. sorry, you are not talent enough.

as a painter
sometimes this happen to me when i paint, i take a break and think about my ideal and my soul. why do i paint, what feed my soul, what is realy make me feel interested and inspired.

AT LAST Enjoy your art,AT LEAST!

well have to also add that a DJ takes (and gives) lots of energy from the crowd, from the party, and that consequently in most of the times, each set has a special flavor, new mixes, different tricks etc... A track is just part of a whole set, not the set...

What's this "psychology of an artist" ?

The ABC of analysing the artists minds?

Good luck

I think music has alot to do with jacking off. U jack off.. and ur happy.. IE u play ur music and your happy.. after ur done.. ur like .. wtf did i just do? I'm tired of it. But then you see yourself doing (playing) is all over again.
Shit, goodnight.
