you are so right Duby... there's a HUGE relationship between the nasty XTC and the status quo, the same with full on.

As for the police, maybe it could help the scene in our country. Could REALLY interfere in the parties in the big metropolis seeking for drugs! (BTW, there are drugs and drugs, some of them the police will never be able to catch) but this is another story totally offtopic. Anyways, avoiding these big events, the people who really love the music would certainly gather in small parties, in private places, who knows... Like it happens often in israel and in europe. Keeping away our arsims, dosims, shimonins, and so on.

EVOLUTION is also a key point. It's sad but true, our country is just archaic. Today it's happening that old and stupid discussion on style, a thing that is being "ON" for a loooooooong time worldwide. And guess what? They are all going to like progressive!!! I can bet my soul... The whole problem is that it takes time. And another big problem is that the scene will never gain maturity in our country. NEVER. Because newcomers will always join, people will keep having parties to take ecstasy listening to an mp3 dj playing GMS, 1200mics, Skazi and so on... (not that i'm against full on, i think it can be welcoming if the right track is picked in the right occasion - sometimes it's nice to be "brega" imo)

The organizers upset me. People that are into the music for a long time with no refined taste and no sense whatsoever of evolution being sold to the xtc crowd. It's a shame. Paying 92384729384 dollars to GMS when there are MANY (I mean MANYYYYYY) different djs and artists wanting to come to Brazil. Everyone wants to play here. Some dont even care much about the money... But no one brings them because it wont sell.

whatever...           cna't find it

Yes, I was wondering the same thing - what was that light up the end of the tunnel after so pessimistic (but very true though) post 3 years ago? What happened? Maybe love makes you seeing things from a different angle than before he he

I guess what we need in Brasil is new stuff.. ppl who cares about psychedelic music and it's evolution...
What r u guys complaining about? what do u expect from this parties if they r always the same? always the same popular dj's.. and why is that? cause that's what is "killer" and that's what "bombs" the dance floor..most ppl in brasil doesn't care about the quality of the tracks they r playing or they r listening to... lots of shitty mp3 dj's on big parties... and always the same ugly fluffy full on... always the same producers.. how many times can ppl see gms and skazi and atomic pulse and astrix in one year? DAMN! what we need in brasil is more information.. and open ur minds to the new stuff... like dimitry said we need stuff for NON XTZ LOVERS, intelligent new music like g.o.w, texas faggott, squaremeat, salakavala, shiva chandra and MANY MANY other brilliant ARTISTS!some stuff u've never seen in brasil before and i'm pretty sure most ppl in here never even heard about them... i had the chance to see texas,g.ow and squaremeat live and damn it's fantastic and inteligent!! differently from all this comercial xtz stuff that doesn't "grow up" cause they found the exact way to make money... that's why most of their tracks r the same.. and we r always listening to the ugly rock remixes they make... cause that's what makes money...
the psy ppl r not going to parties anymore, we r not coming to this kind of forums anymore because there's nothing new there for us... our place is becoming a crowded place full of xtz ppl...
i'm pretty sure that if brazilian ppl begin to know new stuff we can make a better scene and leave all this ugly stuff behind for the stupid ppl... anyway i don't mean to be rude... altough i might "sound" a bit rude but that's the way i am...
and by the way.. what does the police has to do with this? how do u think they could help us? like they do in israel staying all night on parties or coming by the morning to close and send everybody home? hehehehe don't think so...
IMO the answer for our problems is only one: Evolution!

i become so sad reading this thread.

becouse i think i lost the hope and the feeling.... so long time that i don't go for any party here in my city.... and the scene here are small comparing with other cities from Brazil.... but i can't feel the same.

nowadays i just have fun with my friends... rarely we do some private party just for fun and enjoy the music with good friendship and spirit.

But i'm becoming a psyfreak home listener... in major times i just enjoy alone listening at home... nothing more.

i just have fun at festival.... but i'm working and studing hard... hope to be able to go at UP, the only festival in Brazil that i really enjoy.

i think nowadays i'm a anti-social . lol
don't know.... i'm scare... i'm so lost...

hope that i don't lost the all magic.

times are changing...

and that goes to everything, not only trance. Everything that starts small eventually gets bigger, more known and worst.

No one can make you go to a big comm party and make you stay away of the vip area. Come on, if you care about this kind of things, don´t go. Go to the small ones, to the ones your friends put togethere, to psy-bbq ...

When it cools off, when trance is no longer the music of the moment, then you can get back to the big parties (that won´t be big anymore hã!)

1st it s not only a brazil problem is world wide problem.

2nd again with the same boring arguement of full vs what ever.

Anything at the right time and place could work just no overdoing it and there lies the problem promoters with only dark music or only progressive or full on. Create a collage of different style and make it work. no over saturation of any style.

(THis is why I stop going to parties having to listen to dark music all night and in the morning)

Promoter need to demand djs to use originals specially for djs who are getting paid. NO MORE MP3 Djs this a is disgrace to have to listen to bad quality music.

personaly I like a little bit of everything but I dont like this elitist attitude of people thinking they are more pro the scene if they listen to this dark music.

everything is about balance and respect

"i see a tiny little light"

sorry, but I see a giant light. We have everything to become everything we want. We just have to play it right, pretty much the other way we do everything else here in Br.

Agree.

Like full-on said, we have to concentrate in the PVT parties.
True underground spirit!
That's what our scene needs.

Take a look at Israel, for instance.
Underground parties r all around the country, and still, getting knocked down by the police.

Old days back or now-a-days better, either one, would be nice to see.

Best Regards!
