Hands down, the best release (IMHO) since "Adventures...".

srsly?

The Orb put out a lot of top-notch releases between 'Adventures' and Badorb.

Well... Note the "IMHO" part. I rather disliked the one's I recall from in between. Orbus Terrarum, Orblivion, Pomme Fritz, and Cydonia. Take it with a grain of salt though. I'm really pretty picky. Let's rephrase my previous statement as "It's a seriously wonderful album."

well i can say that im glad i was able to dl a version for sampling... not something i do much
but in this case i got a chance to really hear what was up, considering i bought the last 2 orb releases and was dissapointed overall
and in my opinion , this album is just about the same crapola ive come to expect over the past few releases
too many vocals, and rambling on samples
no real winners , no real deep dubs or tripped out tracks out of the lot.

well actually theres 2:
codes, and orbisonia are the most ambient of the bunch. nice and spacy.

seems like formula has won out, vanilla has set in deeply.
sure sure its novel cause ITS THE EFFING ORB
but that mindset has mostly worn off and i cant listen without skipping thru...all i feel is nostalgia for the mind ripping i got seeing them live in 94. or from the first time i heard pomme fritz& orbus terrarum...
buyer beware.... it has its moments but lately im going for cds that i love entirely and not a track or two ...

the remixes (gaudi & specralite/g.hunter) are so much better than the originals.           "There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain will never improve, and that's here." Aldus

Good stuff. I think the album is rather nice.

I just saw the Orb play in Tokyo at the "Oblivion Ball" in Makuhari Convention Center, and they played after Underworld, and the 20,000 people in the audience who paid 60 euro a pop just went wild!

It was a great live show, well put together, and it was a joy to see from start to finish. It gives a whole new meaning to "altitude unlimited."
