I have an amazing story of when I was working in Saudi Arabia as a nurse. A friend had sent me some acid hidden under a stamp of a letter and I took a tab and went walking in the streets for about 6 hours. I WAS OFF CHOPS!!!! I had my cd player and I was playing that track over and over again.. In case you didnt know I could have been whipped and thrown into jail for having acid and that just added to the adventure
Its an amazingly special track to me

Ahhh... The Orb...
One of the greatest projects ever!
I have l.f.c's original 12" from 1991. And their most influencing track E-V-E-R is (taking a deep breath) - " A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules from the Centre of the Ultraworld" from the album - "The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld"!

a masterpiece.
Somewhat not well known is that the hook is a sample of the avant-garde minimalist master Steve Reich, from "Electric Counterpoint". Reich's label wanted to sue, but Reich called the laywers off.

It is indeed one of those hallmark tracks.
Like Quasga said, Apple Tree In My Backyard is a nice sequel to it after all these years.
You know, I wonder what Dr. Patterson has been up lately. Anyone know?
I last saw him when he toured with Juno Rector and came through Washington DC in 2000 (or was it 2001?)
