Hello everyone,

I would like to take a moment of your time to tell you about an artist that will change the definition of trance. There are not a lot of people in the world that get to experience what we feel when listening to this music. Most of you, if not all, know what I am talking about. At times, though, it seems that the music has lost its magic, and we wonder what happened to the days where each track sounded like the seventh heaven. At other times, we find the magic is still there - alive and kicking. But not often do we get to experience the wonder of a new sound.

Throughout history, great musicians have laid down guidelines for an improved set of principals. The wisdom and thought of these people have undoubtedly inspired others to achieve new levels of comprehension in regard to their own personal distinctiveness. Uniqueness, however, can only be reached when one strives for uncharted patterns of thinking along with creativity, innovation and high standards.

Simon Posford is just one of the names in a very selective group of artists who actually created their unique sound. Tim Larner – Sensient - is among that selective group as well. Only 23 years old, Tim has created a new sound that will undoubtedly change the way artists will create music, and the way we will listen to it. He is the new breed of this genre, creating a distinctive style that combines all the elements of trance; the power and kick of full-on mayhem, the groove and soul of progressive, and the soft and gentle sounds of minimal music. All this, fused with his original and unusual mind bending psychedelic sounds, create what some might regard as bliss. His ability to deviate from mainstream dogma will create unconventional visions and possibilities for an enhanced way of thinking. Moreover, Sensient has unveiled a new path that will in turn be imitated but never duplicated.

Psycho Mushroom,

It is not a promotion. but even if it is, so what?

This guy deserves every single word, so why not promote such a talent?

probably the best marketing for a psy trance artist i've ever seen.           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

indeed...

tim makes a great job exploring the sounds that will take us further...

first i heard his music, i realy didnt knew how to define it. yes... music should not be defined by labeling the styles, but when a person asked me whats his style i realy couldnt tell him that its 100% of something. its all... and more!

the new ausi breed indeed

WTG tim!

and btw: about the promotion... even if it is one, why not making it for such a talented new artist?

I've heard a few tracks by Sensient. The tracks that pop up in my mind are the ones from the "Solid", "Psycholympics" and "A Step Beyond" compilations - especially the last one, "Off World".

All tracks are of pretty high quality, and I definatly like his sound - but I wouldn't exactly call his music groundbreaking.

But it's definatly a great new artist, mixing different elements of the psychedelic genre - like a lot of other artists out there.

Looking forward to some more releases by him - and thanks for the tip and info about him btw           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

So what if it's a promotion?
This guy is good and he deserves it.

I didn't hear much of his tracks, only 1 or 2, but what I've heard I liked a lot.
As Agmis said here, he uses the "in between full on and progressive" sounds, but also is very very psychedelic.
This guy has his own style, just like you could say about Sub6, Pixel and Domestic for example.

Tim, I'm still waiting for your demos.... Wanna get to Israe lor not?           Majority is never right!

I find him, his style anyways to be just one fish in the sea. Nothing groudbreaking, nothing special, nothing new. Well that's what I think anyways. Other than that.. I agree 100% with your post.           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

from the two tracks I've heard (not including the early stuff) I agree that Tim has a lot of talent, but I'm yet to hear something that will fit the first paragraphes Danni.           ---------------------------------------------
