In my opinion, Spiritual Healing is one of the best music experiences in the history of music...and anyone who says it suxxs, u just dont get it!! The only question I keep asking myself all the time is: Why Juan stopped doing traxx? |

PPL wtf is wrong with all of u?
A person who says that this track sux has a closed mind or listens to trance from yesterday. This whole album is a journey to a better place. Yes it sounds old but it doesn't mean that it sux.I am a Dj myself, I have new trax that sound completely different but all the new equipment in the world can't make music like Juan's work of art. I don't know many other trax that have so much soul in it. Even today if I play one of his trax in a set (only at the peak of the best parties) ppl who know it "grow wings" and ppl who don't are astounded by the way it touches them. What I'm trying to say is that this track is a classic piece of art that must be remembered by all the trance ppl.

Seth, Juan didn't stop making music.
VOR knows more about it, but apparently he's doing some beautiful ambient tunes...
btw, agree with u on Spiritiual Healing.

This song truly is a spiritual healing..after a chaotic party or a bad day this song just brings you to such a good place inside..it transcends beyond all the technical aspects of trance. My friend wrote Juan an e-mail after he first heard this song and he replied that while making this song he had cancer and upon completion of the song went in for analysis and discovered he was in remission. I'm not saying that the song cured his cancer and neither did he but we all know music is powerful and this song touched him as much as it touched all of us

well.... in my opinion this is a track where juan did ALL effects and samples sound RIGHT! this is a song made with the heart and the soul, where in my opinion he would like to thank about his cancer healing....
.... and it's, of course, one of my favourite!!!!

this is the greates track EVER. I can't find anything better.
Sure, ther are tracks that are even more melodic or professiaonaly done (by means of music industry development).
But
This track touches by its melody and emotionality. It really tales a story. And the thing is not in effects or instruments or sounds but in whole composition.

Yeah, this track actually tells a story. Juan is a lot into spirituality terms and that kind of stuff and I can ensure while he was making that track he tried to put out all his positive energy due to make the people enjoy with it and understand his mind at the same time. |

Probably the best track ever made. This song would still get good response on the floor today. So beatiful, great melodies, awesome beats and a story behind it as well. Where is the Muses Rapt and why haven't we heard more???????? Pefect for a  or some

Imo, spiritual healing is simply Spiritual Healing, it is how trance should have sounded like if people weren't gonig comercializing or turnining into other directions (clubby, techno etc.)
it has pure soul, and it transfers emotions that u cant even describe in words, it is the closest u get 2 transfer your own emotions into music (Amazing work Juan)..
and im not talkin' only about the track, im talkin' about all the CD... there is no formula, there is no "make the track just 2 fill the CD" its simply Emotions... u can understand what the dude felt and it simply touches! i dont know any other artist that is able 2 transfer his emotions in his tracks! no1...........

Well, i agree that spiritual healing is emotional and touching, no doubt about that. BUT, that second track on that album, called The ancient sounds of the god, is IMHO the ultimate emotional track. It's more ambient than trance, you all know it, I guess; Those pads, and 303 lines, and strings, and transposition from A minor to F major... These are truely amazing, and even more touching than the Spiritual healing track.

ancient sounds of god is a continuing track to spiritual healing, dedicated to juan's son.
hod, i don't think it's over praised. i think it's underrated of all things. look at the technique at the times - he had 303 boxes for real, not VSTi's. he recorded this with analog instruments, and got some sweet sounds together. plus, it's an emotional track, telling a true story, of death at near, and man's triumph over it.
