i wouldn`t take specs too serious..you need to listen to them ..and if you like the way they sound..they r good for you..
even 0300 by K&H got a very clean not much entertaining sound but you just hear everthing..
so it kinda depends ..do you want to spend 1900€ for one speaker or do you want some that r not that accurate but still fun to work with...still remember you will need to listen to them for a lot of hours..so check them out..compare and stuff..

I own M-Audio BX8a's and a BX10s sub. Despite all the trash people have been talking on the BX8s's I really enjoy listening to them. I found the KRK V series to be very very harsh on the high end, they fatigued my ear in a matter of minutes.
I have owned my tops for a little over a year now and I could not be happier with them. Very nice full sound, sharp defined bass, and quite easy on the ears. I use them to practice my DJ mixes at high volumes daily as well as my main music listening speakers so I can confidently say I know these monitors well. I run them on average for about 10 hours a day and have yet to experience a problem.
The sub is not as high quality as the tops in my opinion but I do not have any specific complaints about it either. It is acoustically matched to my tops so it is what I have to work with and I am happy I dropped the $400 for it. My only concern is that many users have cited reliability issues with it.
Certainly Adams costing twice the price will be better. Mackie not so much since their QC has fallen significantly in recent years. Ultimately I do not think there is any need to spend massive amounts of money on monitors for Psy trance. Since we work with synthesized sounds who's parameters can be controlled precisely I feel there is less need for infinitely detailed tops that are commonplace in high end rock/jazz mixing studios. The most important thing is to find a speaker that sounds "good" to your ears since it is not worth shit if the sound is fatiguing or disagreeable to you. After all no monitor is truly flat, not even the top end. Any respectable monitor will be designed to reduce embellishments in the frequency response and volume range, beyond that it is your responsibility to become familiar with the sound and work from there. |

I heard my monitors though to a deferent studio and the sound was totally different that mine.So its all about acoustics.U need to listen the monitor, any monitor before u buy it.That's my opinion.

Well it's difficult to say in fact beceause each monitors gives a special colours to the sound. My personal advice would be to take a track that you consider to be a real good mix (you can take track like in minimal or prog), and make test with the speakers you would like to buy . Anyway with good monitors it helps to improve with time in quality production. Somehow it won't make miracles. Work and knowledge are the keys. But good monitors are a good guide to improve the quality of the prod .
