If infinity is 0, or if infinity exists, then the whole theory of the universe(1) goes for a toss.
Isn't it the favorite raver line to say "we are all one"?, uni?
But if we say that infinity = 0, then the 'infinite' universe that we life in becomes 'nothing'!
But the words 'infinite' and 'universe' are contradictory!... but then they come up with theories of the multiverse, which, again, doesn't explain much! 
It's just all too confusing 
Pardon me if all of this sounds lil too obvious, I'm a bit spiritually challenged

That's valid mathematical reasoning ... How can 8, 0 and 1 be the same thing ! 0 suggests nothingness and not quite the value in scientific terms ! Infinity is never ending and can be compared to going around in circles with no start an no end ... Eternal ! The circle is a Zero !
It's all infinite and infinite exists as the eternal singularity, which makes us all one ! We are all ONE irrespective of ones raving habits 
It's one BIG Cosmos and there are small worlds splattered across the far reaches of outer space ! Some call their worlds universes which suggests the concept of multiverse as there are many !!! There is a lot more to all of this and my guess is it's nothing after all !

and as for the circle, what lies outside of it? Cause a circle, as we perceive it, always lies on a plane. So what lies outside the circumference, or within it?

The term infinity is used in terms of the physical plane and the term nothingness or zero is used in terms of the astral plane. You cannot use them interchangeably to derive the conclusion that if infinity=0 and universe=infinity then universe=0. Your reasoning is based on the understanding of just the physical plane. Its not possible to explain infinity from the physical plane, u need a higher consciousness, which is obviously why most of us here is having trouble really defining it. As i pointed out earlier people have tried to define it from the physical plane through complex mathematics believing that if they could do so they could explain everything, but those who believed to come close to the answer became schizophrenics and ended up in asylums.
If we are made up of atoms, can atoms think? Any scientific mind would say ofcourse not, its the arrangement in which the atoms come together and form such a complex organ as the brain and its the brain that enables us to think. But when you come to think of it (lol) , even though the atoms dont have the ability on their own to think what you are thinking right now, they do have a conciousness of their own? An undoubtly smaller conciousness then your own, a conciousness thats only enough to tell them how they are to arrange themselves? But its that small conconciousness that enables a much higher conciousness?
Now try telling each of these atoms that they are all one and they are all part of higher mind and they'll tell you how nuts you are  , especially considering how hard each of them works, naturally, their understanding is of their physical plane, they are busy doing their thing, they'll never be able to explain something as complex as a human thought, even though they are indirectly whats causing it.
So yes to be able to explain something higher than us , u must have awareness of two different planes, you must have a higher conciousness, which is probably where spirituality comes into play.
And yea about the concept of the multiverse, well even if we did have several universes, think about it, what would you call the container that holds each of those universes? The super universe? Comes down to the same thing dont u think?

Very nicely said! I agree with it, but somewhere down the line am still not satisfied . But, as you pointed out that the atom cannot transcend itself to the human consciousness, could it be so that we cannot transcend ourselves to the higher consciousness? Could Douglas Adams be right, are we just a part of a biological supercomputer grid that is supposed to formulate the question to life (the answer is 42, btw )?

I feel ya! somewhere down the line we're all not satisfied, i know i'm not I guess the only ones that had that satisfaction were the christs, the buddas, the Mohameds but even they could not precisely explain it to us in straight words, how could they? words can never do it, they can merely guide, hint, its a personal journey after all. I personally dont think its impossible to transcend to a higher consciousness, i dont know if i can, but i know i'm going to die trying, after all what have i got to lose?
And yea i tink Douglad Adams was spot on with that statement, only, id take off the word 'just' from that. But haha it all really could be as simple as 42...now imagine that

the whole universe being of the same matter = unity or oneness is true , scientifically, metaphysically, spiritually or quantum wise the vibrations of energy particles define the different characters so the table and the laptop the music system and you and me are all made of the same element "energy" which takes form of atom and am sure atom does not have any problem with that ...................
Unity : scientists have discovered that there is no void as to say void but "dark matter" where there is nothing or blackness as said , rather dark matter is the raw material for new objects of the universe . so now try to imagine everything linked up by invisible energy threads and being different by vibrations ...
yes 42 could be the answer lol
by awareness and knowledge wise no doubt that all is one and one is all
