what did you mean by ''real-time?''

realtime tweaking, meaning create one on Attack or bazzism then sample it. dosnt matter personally aslong as the envelopes are tight

Thanks, can you explain me what is the advantage/purpose of doing this?

u should "keep with megauoplaod" first , and then the d/l is behind the links window (where it makes countdown)

How did u make those kicks? can u give some basic tutorial what to twick and trigger and what kind of vst you are using to accquire those wonderfull psy kicks?

hm,

ok, as i got it still on my laptop and learned everything i needed to know from it, i have uploaded the Infected Mushroom Kickdrum Tutorial once again, i think it was countless posted on isratrance.

anyway its not that easy to find some times, so here´s the link:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TG8MPTP4

hope its not actually anywhere uploaded twice here =D

but for kickdrum i can only recommend bazzism, which is very cheap and based on the way u will go in soundforge otherwise, but much more easy to use.

Loving iT!!!

cant get how people cut out the kickdrum of another artists track, and IMO comletely senseless as u will never know or hear the pitch/decay and all that stuff. nevertheless seems to be used often.

it was never that easy gettin a selfmade kickdrum fitting your taste than today

Bazzism you can get here, try before buy, its not that expensive and more than worth to support that guy who coded this great plug

With bazzism you can create a lot of sounds by automatization around that one kick you have chosen or designed for your track.I mean you can play with the kick a bit when needed.
Soundforge is still an adventure for me,but I would miss alot of things you can do with a kick in your track when using bazzism.
Some of Elads kicks sound like there is more than only soundforge to me ,correct me if Im wrong please.

On the contrary, I always have Ultrabeat playing the kick so I can edit it later on if I want to change my mind.
Ultrabeat is super stable, no hick ups, always generates the kick exactly the same, just like you'd be triggering a sampled kick from a software sampler, or simply dropping it in an audio track.

never tried, but sounds great.

if i want my kickdrum realtime i have to work at 256sample buffersize with bazzism or it crashes by change any parameters.

but like that is no problem with bazzism too.

@ TimeTraveller: what are u exactly missing in bazzism? in the samplepack i donno, maybe elad will have the pleasure to tell us.

to me it sounds like a synth, cause the pitch sounds changed by note from sample to sample. but sure is no problem changing the note with bazzism or soundforge, just need to know the frequencies....

hey Mandari
nono im missing nothing in bazzism.Really like this.My expresion or grammar bad english whatever was a bit hard to dig I guess.
I ment Id miss bazzism if I go only for soundforge kick.
..but Im sure you can creat different kicks from soundforge maybe when puttin some other effect besides the sine pitching .dunno..however bazzism is alrigt for my purpose.

When I make a kick using the infected method, I have a little thump, sounds like air pressure at the end of the kick. Ive cut the wav file so that its set to zero crossing. Any ideas on how to correct this? Also, the kick sample is low on level when using it in Live. I set the amp amount to max when making it in soundforge. Suggestions appreciated

I was wondering how this sustained kick that I hear in some tracks, is made. Let me explain.
it sounds like a normal kick but it's tail base fades long and pitches down, like a sine wave get pitched from high to low.
I was able to reproduce it by layering with sine, but
q1: is it made by layering?
q2: is it made from scratch?
q3: is it made from a ready kick by putting certain fx or processing on it?

thank you           -------------------------------------------------

After using bazzism and nusonica, the only thing that can really punch is loadin a kick sample into kontakt and using 2pitch envelopes.
It the best for me so far.

Forget sound forge and use "psy kick"

Far superior and FREE!

Seriously I'm never looking back. Also what's this bazzism bollocks all about?

I never understood the psykick interface. was a little to confusing for me.
do you have a manual for this vst?           "Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon."

No, I know of no manual.

I remember an earlier version of psykick being not all that but the version 4 has some nice parameters and seems very straight forward.
