I just figured it out myself.
What you do is, take a kickdrum sound you like, overlap it with that exact same sample.
On the second sample you cut the highs and boost the lower frequencies (this could be done with waves Maxbass or Rbass or just any good EQ).
With a little bit of tweaking, you're kick should become nice deep and powerful.
So far this has worked for me. |

A good thing to do to make the kickdrum sound clear and massive is to put a high cut and a lowcut filter on it. The highcut is to make the bass of the kickdrum louder (cutting is always better than boosting! Saves the quality a bit more). The Lowcut should be at about 20-40Hz. It is low enough to still let some subs trough, but cuts enough to make the rest of thje track a bit louder and clearer. Even if you can´t here the lowest frequencies, they still eat up space and therefore make the whole track less loud and a whole lot muddier. The trick of mixing is to make things sound clear, so you can hear everything. If you´r highs sounds muddy and unclear, it could be becouse of too much subs somewhere, and the kick is often the place.

use the sub osc "off" so u can use the sine wave.analogue to zero ofcourse and use the gateR instead of the Usual ADSR.there u go nice basket kind kiks!!!!! |

Cannabis - what do you mean with
"without peaking?"
you mean that in the end it snaps to sharp or does it clip?
Trim the ends of it.. fade out and sometimes you can EQ a bit of the mid and high freq casue its to sharp but just on the peaking content.... and sometimes the kick you use is not sounding good for reverse so you find another kick that can fit while being reversed...
maybe we get some more reversed kick ideas?
if it wont peak than it wont change in pitch or dynamics and it will only bee a long bass sound?

how do u make those killer breaks using the kick in cubase....for ex...i get it when i use the time stretch in cubase but i'll have to place 2 or more wav files together to get it. In Fruity i use the arpeggiator in the channel and stretch the time as well.... but by doing all this i am not really satisfied...coz the it sounds very flat...the bass gets killed a lil bit.....im sure all of u know wat im talkin abt....is there something im missing out??? :S
