Steinberg keeps some legacy stuff online on their ftp.

ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/Download/Legacy_Additional_Content/Additional%20Cubase%20SX%20Plugins/

Enjoy!

I use the Moog Rogue to make my bass sounds and the Korg ESX to sample and sequence them.

quadrafuzz works only in cubase or in other daws:           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

When I used the Z3ta for bass, I just selected initialize. Then I selected one of the Vintage Saws in Oscilators.
in filters I choosed a 24dB/Oct LPF.
Then in Modulation Matrix, I selected Osc1, and a range of about 0.6-0.7 , and the control point at Velocity, and destination for it, Filter1 cutoff.
Then i tuned the cutoff in Filters to make it sit to the kick.

Then I used some effects on the bass channel as well.. I think I had like 4 different.. Like Voxengo Gliss to shape the sound, and then Fuzzplus to get a little bite to it, And I think I also used a compressor and soundgoodizer..

oh.. and I used a kick from some Isratrance pack I think.

Cheers!!           http://www.myspace.com/x3doz

One more question. What kind of vsti's are good for creating warm and round bass for psychill and psybient. Trilogy is too expensive for me at the moment

Hi..its very easy with muon pro..

This video shows its basics..
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=828491&content=videos&vidID=57354

Also this tutorial is very good...and the example is with muon pro..but not with the setting..more with the whole processing and method..

Good luck!
