Hi guys,First of all thx for your patient... Thx for take a time to listen that tests...
Quantec: =) I did some more tests, deeper this time
Remy: I wanst using any tip of mastering, just a test with the notes. Now Im using Ozone, wow, it totally changed my tracks.
Tribute: I will try that... Is there any technical explanation about boosting 60hz and 100hz or its just a experience use ? Does it matter about the note of my bassline?
I have some new work... I will post it this evening... Now with sustain 0, hehehe... and some sustain for groove notes..
Thx all, peace! |

Hmm i think it doesnt matter..
i only use it instead of rbass.. it just sounds better to me.
Open up Fulteq leave everything standart just push ~1.5db on 60 ~2.5 on 100 works for me. depends on the synth, when the subs are enough, maybe only 0.5 for 60 an so on.. try it |

i only use filters like a compressor or a reeverb to make the bassline more bassy/lively... You never use for example an equalizer or reeverb for the bassline? |
|
eq for shure, reeverbs onli for fx.
ok. its my mistake. i meant filters like cubases tonic.. |

good one man !! is true, now i dont like vb1, but i can say this one was very very important to me, and u can get very good sounds. try to put Waves Rcompressor and Quadrafull " cut all high 100% in quadrafuzz " BUT ALL "100" and later it u begin playing the rbass compressor, making some changes there. u will see , will not be like vb1. JEJEJEJ BECOUSE REALLY TALKING THE SOUNDS OF VB1 IS CRAP. if YOu EQ IT and compress the sound will be much better !!! thank you very much. anyway vb1 roxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Go from midi to audio when your track is done, then cut the bassnote or use sidechain compression! |

it depends on wath kind pf synth you use.
but i think you're working with one without an adsr.
there are a lot of transiente designers.
with this tools you can change the transiente of any sound.
here's the link of a god freeware:

ah kaidun welcome on board öbrigens
oder besch scho länger do? easy change language^^
hm dont depend on the synth, if i use v-station, trilogy or tau. transient shaper i have this one: http://www.schaack-audio.com/transientshaper.html
but it dont cut anything am i right? only boost the attack or the release..
@greententacle yeah i think so when im finished i can bounce and cut.. sidechain doesnt really work for me because it doesnt "mute" the bass first, it only make it quieter.
i want the transients right^^ or some tool wich cuts the rest when the kick comes in..
thanks for your replies |

hey tribute.. nene au scho längers debii. aber ned so fliisig ;-)
hm. in V-Station you can easy change the decay and sustain.
the transiente designer just works like an A-R envelope i think. i dont know the tool you need. but definitely gona check this.
since a half year i never again used tau. it sounds god but i allways had the same problems like you. the notes where too long.
you really have to try the alien 303.
i can send you some cronox and alien presets.
check your mailbox in the next couple days.
you know. we have to keep on rocking the swiss scene ;-) |

Complete noob question here.
Whenever I load a bass vsti (like VB-1) into Ableton 7 and press a key on the keyboard to play, it just plays it constantly (like the note is locked at on). When I press a different key it just layers it on top and won't stop until I delete it from my set.
Help anyone? This happens with all bass vsti's I've used, not just VB-1. I'm sure there's some easy setting I need to turn off, but I haven't been able to find it. Thanks.

Um, I put it in my plug-ins folder and opened it up in Ableton. I guess I'm a ninja and don't know it .
Maybe that's why it's messed up.
