set the bass notes a litle bit forward, maximum zoom and then -1/-2. A bit more attack (for adjust), then you will have more drive & clearer Sound!

So i tried your bassline toturial, very nice results ,thank u very much,i changed a bit and used a vb-1 and liked it alot , the only thing i don't understand is setting the notes forward,it didn't work that nice for me,but i'll give it a try again
Anyway thanx

ok...it should be only a litle litle bit,the smallest attitude which is possible, & you´ve to adjust the developed advance time with the attack and an envelop/transient shaper. The
bass will run much tighter, cause you can affect it in any way totally!

you have listened to my results...well it could be better....now i´ve another one, sounds much clearer then the ones in the toutorial. Doin bass research every day ;-)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Quantec do you understand when i say I LOVE YOU MAN!!! this idea of pushing the bass notes forward is fucking genius....i always had the problem of my bass sounding so static!!! like a robot should dance to it!!! FUCKKK!!! Your a genius!!! im sure all the pros know about this little secret but no one ever was sharing this cuz it could be overlooked ( it certainly never crossed my mind!!)

WOWWW!!!!! i went back to all my old tracks, pushed the notes, and EUREKA!!! everything sounds soo flowy, even my synths sound like they are floatin on top!! SICKKKKKK
Thank you sooo much for this tiny but hell of an effective trick!!

P.S. More people should disclose little secrets like these PLEASEEEEE!!!! some one working very hard at "trying" to get a fat sound will overlook these details, but eventually figure it out one day, but its generous people (dont want to mention any names ) like QUANTEC for example that disclose these little secrets will receive much greater things in life for their good deeds!!!
Thanks again man

Yeah, thats really amazing!Thankx

@Quantec:
Do you mean to set every note as its own a little bit forward?
Or the hole Loop or midi file?

:-D Im very glad that i was able to help you!!

That´s the reason why ive postet my toutorials ;-)
When i began to make music, there was no one who could help me, here i´m the only one who knows somthing about professional producing in a circle of 50km... So i started my own research.....this is one of the results. I just like to share them cause others will have it a bit easier...
But i´m also thinking a lot about that, how other artists, like U-recken a.e. are making thier baseline....

if there´s anyone out there who like to start something through the internet...i´m searching for artist for some colaborations in producing...

@Greententacle:
I ment the midi notes, of course. You sould start some experiments with them ;-) Set each note of a 4 or 8 tact loop individual, for example..
...like i did it in the two toutorials... take a look to the fullon toutorial, and you will see, that they ar not at the same place like in the Offbeat tout...that´s why i´ve marked them. The theorie was, to have more controll over the bass notes, over the "starting" accents, than with a normal envelop, attack or shaper....

u can also set the notes ab bit backward, i know, that sounds crazy, but it works!.....i did this in the full on tout. it was usefull because i like to get a "catch me if you can" kick bass play like it sounds on Domestic or Xerox Ill. tracks. Its also rolling, and not static..."it goes pumpin ahead"..;-) i dont now why, but when i did it, i came to the result which i liked to have..

but in every time u have to adjust with tools which could affect the changes. only setting notes won´t work.

Sorry i misunderstood your real question a bit.

You can set the whole loop (each equal note)forward, then it will be evenly. But if you dont like to have a straight line...a.e. a G dur-line, if you like to set notes in diffrent pitches, u have to start an experiment: Find out which variant (setting forwards, backwards or on the raster) is better for deeper, higher and for the basic pitch notes. It also depends on your used vsts & also on the inserts.
I can recommend the G-Sonic Allien 303 very much! I think its much more influenceable than any other one like the, in my oppinion, too often used vb1, vanguard, and even as the Trillogy. with some good eqs (not the waves q!!!! , URS are the ones...), it wont sounds muddy....

Anyway, just do it as u like it, however ur bass should sound...
it is just my recommendation for the ones who like uncompromising results, which aren´t in use by everyone ;-)

Well done Quantec

I have a question, if you just move forward the delay of the channel? isnt the same?

In principle it is, but its just another "absolute" trace controll! By setting the midis individual, you can bring more live into the line, than with a constant value.
But if u only use a straight line...the dalay will be enough..
And it depends also on the kind of baseline...
