Wow, I think Alien303 is superb for basslines!
It's actually just what we all want, not too much fiddling, but just straight forward, and there you have the bass you're looking for.

Hello,
I do not have this problem;
my opinion is that you are using mono mode, try to switch Alien303 to poly mode and allways use poly mode for bassline or try to put your latency a little bit higher

hope this will help

Hi,
My hard drive crashes and i needed to istall everything again....and it seems that Alien 303 is playing well now! No clicks and im going to change for poly mode to see if gets even better! About the latency im shure that was not cause of that...im using Scope Asio Drives....impossible to have latency! And all my other softsynths play very well...

Bye and thanks for the sugestion

Read the 54 pages first.

If you still can't do it, then ask here again.           -------------------------------------------------

ha ?

i use more and more albino3 this days for basses , nice touch! less compressors and eq , just slight Lp Filter , sweet sounds

is there a particular patch that people start with to make bass in albino 3? I can't get anything that remotely sounds right from them.

I used to use Albino for bass but have moved to trilogy now. In albino i'd use the analog oscillators with a lowpass cream filter with some resonance which would make a pretty meaty techish sounded bass. Don't know about making a fullon or dark bass with it though.           My tracks:

i used albino too, and also switched, was a little thin. i have tried muon tau pro, audiorealism bassline (real nice !), VB1 _never liked it, trilogy and no cronox.. i think the bass there is superb.           www.soundcloud.com/elektroakustica/sets/downtempo/

Trilogy - use the synth bass patch : Coming Home Late

Tweak the attack and you`re set.
Great sounding bass.
