you could also mix the dry and the fx channel of your base into one bus...

Inspired på Domi, I would also like to hear what ppl think about my bassline and use of plugis, my plugin chain is totally crazy. I just played around until i liked the sound.
It goes: Blue Filter -> Classic compressor -> Dominon -> MDrive -> Q6 EQ -> TC comp (for sidechain)

Anyways, download here and listen to it with and without plugins.

Btw, fuzzikitten that "tutorial" about bass power was awesome! I have not tried it yet but i'm going to soon.

icedice !
sounds cool !
the chain is really crazy
may be it sounds better if other chain?

compressor should compress the end signal.. and equalizer before the compressor..

keep it going on : )

A tried tweaking some knobs and change my plugin chain a bit....

The result: http://www.sendspace.com/file/uyv0z1

It sound a bit thin, or is it just me?

The fx chain is now:

Blue filter -> Dominon -> Q6 -> Classic Comp -> MDrive

the bass sounds good, but you could try to add some low freq @ 50-70 hz for more bottom of bass !

i would add mdrive before comp ;=)

The attack of the bass is very strong how do you do that ?

@ EelezDyzer !

hey there,
strong attack of a bass can be done by a short decay of the filter envelope !
You set a short decay of the filter decay, set a little sustain (but not more than decay), and then tweak the cutoff filter till it sounds good!

what synth do u use, i could make u a short preset...

happy day

@Domi
Any softsynth will do, V-Station, Absynth, Vanguard or any other you recommend... Thx for your help ... I really would like to be able to sound like the sample in my last message .... I've been trying for days ... All I am reading is tweak this and that, but I really would appreciate a more exact procedure, so I can start from something that works ...

Thx

here you are mateys, have fun, tweak a lot

www.sendspace.com/file/7wna8f

edit,
with equalizer you can push the attack a little, using a highshelf..           https://soundcloud.com/twonzero-progressive/twonezero-alienpast-soon-on

@Domi .... Yes !!!! I love it ... Exactly what I was looking for ...
Now I can start tweaking from something I like, otherwise it's awfully painful ...I was totally ignorant of the use of the filter envelope parameters ....

How did you find those ? Tweaking for hours I guess .... Or do you a good source of info ... 'cause I have billions of others questions of how making such and such sound .... Thanx a lot ...

I will transmit the info to http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/111365/forum/2 if you allow me... he is putting up a tutorial page ...
