rendering rebel that means if we have a bass with all notes (or the base ones) on C1 we should boost the frequency of C1?

No ...what this table means is that the frequencies are already higher when playing specific notes, for sure boosting any frequencies is a creative desicion, and i usually dont go for it.
however, if you change the bass notes you should change the frequencies you are CUTTING , so you dont cut any important ones that were dissonant on the previous note....

I usually boost c2 when im on c1 because you dont want to boost anything under 40 hz.
I had a track with alot of changing notes on the bass and for the biggest steps(like going up one octave) i used a seperate channel with the same bass boosting the other frequencys and also with a differnt eq preset

This way the bass stays steady(the power) while the notes go up really high

Anyways, just some handy info. Use it the way it works best for you just experiment a bit.

Trilogy

ESM
Tau Pro
VB 1
Audiorealism Bassline
Tritium

I think these are the most widely used & recommended one's..

It may sound strange to some but Albino 2 is all I use for everything except drums these days. I think I used absynth a couple of times for pads but I think I do better out of understanding one synth very well than trying to get little bits out of a lot.

Vanguard, Vb-1, Albino..
In my opinion the best ones for the bassline!

Anyone willing to share bassline presets for various VST's? I sure am. I think i'd be cool to build a package for rookies to start of cause I've noticed the frustration is immense and we al have/had to go through it...

Generally good idea, but every synth comes with loads of presets, which can be tweak to perfection....           -------------------------------------------------

i think it s better to not use a sampler, audio track with fades give better result(don t know why ,maybe midi latency or bad envelop)i do it like this ,i use as many audio tracks as different note in my bassline(1 track for G other for C...)i all send them in a mono group and eq there.sometimes some highter note need less velocity but they ll have less lowend too if you remove 1 or 2 db...what they need is more eq and not less velocity ,so i open a other eq for these notes... now with the vst i tried ,i think the best bassline come from trilogy saw waves followed by the virus , nord and es1,osc of most vst are full of bad frequencies and need a lot more equing ,in the end it s hard to make them sound natural .for me the best is using a wavetable synth with very fast envelop,it ll give you the best results and you can a/b all the vst oscillators for the purest, for my taste i like the sh 101,juno 106 followed by es 1 who is better than esm(need less eq).these really need just a little equing.

PoM, that's a very complicated way of making a bassline. You're individually setting EQ on each note?

Psytramce has turned into surgeon precision computer editing. But I guess that is what it takes. Most who don't regularly listen to Psytrance don't realise that it is far harder to make than it sounds. I can't think of how many basslines I threw away because the root note sounded good but the upper octave or minor third didn't. Now I know why. Thanks for the tip!

After going through various synths without being able to do the sound that I want for my Fullon-bassline I finally found the sound that I was looking for.

The answer is: KarmaFX Modular Synth.

I've struggled with multiple synths and those ADSRs but KarmaFX's envelope is just so much better than normal ADSR. There's prolly many other synths with same kind of envelope but I just fell in love with KarmaFX's one.

Other synths I've use in my quest for perfect full on bass:

VB-1 (obviously )
Muon Tau Pro
Cronox II
Albino 2 & 3
Z3ta+
Hydra
Trilogy

I don't use it, but it seems that they are in "one-shot" setting or some.           -------------------------------------------------

For anyone who is starting now i will give you some tips...

Lot´s of synths can give good bases...

Give a try and focus first on the basics...

Use one oscilator first....

Then look for the filter cut off, put it on 500, 1000, 2000 hz...

then look at the amp , set it to 90ms 100ms (morning, full on, etc) hi tech to 80ms...

then tweek the rest the synth has but with one oscilator (Saw) at first...

After this, use a good compressor like PSP mastercompressor

Filter the frequêncies you dislike with a good filter like URS N10 series...

Boost a litle on the harmonic note of the bass 1 db for example on the D1 (73) hz i guess...

cut a little at the 300hz (mud area)

cut a litle at 3000 - 20000 hz if you are using saw wave and don´t want to mutch click on it...

And always save a cool patch, sometimes you get the perfection by tweaking and when you open the stuff on the other day you just make crapp... so having a library to save time is very important when you want something fast...

powerfull bass synths...

if you think vb-1 is bad than you can't work with it (it also took me pretty long) oe you just don't like these kind of basslines.. most of the people who dislike vb-1 would have to choose for the first option
