Hehehe ... i am having problems with basses to. This is funny but they usually apear when i am trying to do a bass with Tau's synths. Yesterday i mixed bass with a kick and now i've got a strange problem. On the speakers it sounds so cool , but when i put my head phones on ... i get easy frustrated - and don't know why Maybe the kick is to low ... shit .. i think its time to buy a monitor speakers or i will be in this shitty circle all the time. :- )

Look people, i am sure that you've got a beeter speaker than me so tell be about this little mp3. I never used tau2 before so i have a strange problem. VB1 or Albino don't make this shitty headphone sound.

I always use freq analizer but now it just cant help me ... WTF!

It happens to me too, maybe our frequencies
are a little bit off and theyre easier
to spot on our headphones than on our
speakers. I dont know really, anybody have
an answer to this?

tip: don't use quadrafuzz with high volumes or you'll ruin the sound !
actually i prefer a boost in the high & very high frequencys... gives more punch

I tweaked AudioRealism bassline for a few hours and that's what i got.

Next is to tweak junglist, seems to have some nice possibilities with it. I'm also gonna try the Tau everyone's talking about.

Any other vst worth mentionning?           http://www.spannungsbogen.com
For information, boooking and Demo

Nice bass but its to dry for me and without the subpower try to eq a little bit.

For a modern psybasses for its ease to make a very good sound with albino or vb1. I dont like tau pro for sound design. I think that Tau2 is better - dosent make this distorted clippy sounds ;- )

BTW - what about this headphone/speaker problem. I cant believe that my headphones can generate lower freq than my sub :- ) Anybody with monitor speakers - make a test for us

hey dudes,

afaic bass reproduction depends on the size of membrans so thats why in techno dub an reggae you need this big membrans of 18'' wheras in psy 15'' are state of art (fast bass like psy need fast responding membrans, to big is too slowly too)- so headphones allways lack of bass!! of course the quality of the speakers are still important!

Dude,
Very interesting point. But I've never seen at any party where there was no 18" subs. Is this a new trend or what?           -------------------------------------------------
