The Metro is a new club in Århus, committed to promote the electronic scene in Denmark, and their lineups so far looks absolutely astounding.
They just published their website, which can be found here: http://www.themetro.dk (only in Danish)
A few of the lineups are incomplete, and more parties will be added sooner, but so far it almost sounds too good to be true - The schedule for the first 4 parties:
Thursday the 24th of February at Train:

Finding a decent place to house parties saturdays/fridays is hard I think.
Im going to as many of those metro parties as my job will permit - Starting this thursday with Der Dritte Raum
Id like to see more of the local scene represented as well, and not the usual goa/psy djs.

It's very nice with some parties in Aarhus again, but the lineups are not that refreshing as you could have hoped. And thursday doesn't fit that well in my calendar, gotta work you know.. so it's home early

22.00 - 05.00 is a little harsh on my sleeppattern, so I'm probably not attending so many of these "happy-thursdays" - to my regret.
I like the initiative though, and I salute the people who've done a good job raising the project. Carry on. |
