I think that Juno Reactor -- 'Luciana' "could" be the longest one (about 55 minutes)... but my knowledge in Psychedelic Trance is not as huge as some freakers here around...
About the shortest... well I don't know...

Don't know about recorded track - but at Boom 2000 the Star Sound Orchestra played for about ten hours non stop in the chill out area (I'd be lying if I said I watched it all - kept going off for a few hours to have a dance and then come back & watch them for a bit.. although i do seem to remember they went well over time as one of my friends was playing after them).
As for shortest - there's loads of quick tracks that are just samples or messing about. |

I go with Kako-whatever, Luciana is a track-in-a-CD...longest (and probably scariest) stuff i've ever seen...

Well, there's a rumored Elysium track that is supposed to last 45 minutes. It was not really released properly- don't remember the exact story.
Kristian once promised to send it to me and didn't (aham aham).
Maybe since he's here he'll put it for all of us for download???

And also the latest long track that I've heard (lately the tracks are becoming shorter), is by our own BLT & Danny Makov- it's called Paterns Of... and last for 19 minutes. You'll have to hear BLT live to enjoy it, though.

There is a track called 'Sun Self' on an old comp. called 'Trance de Eivissa' (with Etnica, Morphog, Maskalin, Earthling, Process, Infected, and more...)
Sunself is 1minute 45 seconds long...
not the most psychedelic piece of music but could still induce a trance...

Longest tunes - Talamasca has a new one at 22 minutes and something that knocks out every 4x4 dance track that I can think of. Ambient is naturally open to much longer explorations.
Shortest tracks - toss-up between Ticon's Bonanza and Koxbox - Midnight at the End... I'd have to crown Koxbox the winner of that one however!
