When is a track considered too old to be included on a dj set???            Dance like nobody's watching you.

It depends on the listener. Some people love to hear a track over and over in DJ sets and some don't.
Go with your instinct. Nobody can determine if a track is officially DONE.

Indeed. Art never gets old. It dosent matter who made it, how old it is, how cheesey it is, art is art. Music is music.           Fuck elitism.

I'm buying old stuff... It's killarghhh!

I play only original released stuff or promo, and I can tell you: my sets work.

Good music is good music.

In example, an example that has nothing to see with Psytrance..

A few weeks ago, I saw Dave Clarke (amongst other) in a multi-rooms party. The guy once launched Chemical Brothers' "It Doesn't Matter".. Which most of the people could consider as old not to say very old.. (1997)

Believe me the crowd just went wild..

So this also depends on the Deejay who is spinning the "old" track.. one would be considered a lame dj cause he has oldies in his bag while another playing the same track will be called a genius..

I'm often amazed by such things hehe..           .

I played the same track when warming up for Midi Miliz & The Delta at a party in Copenhagen two months ago. Crowd didn't went wild, but it's still great fun for me to find really old tracks and use them in my sets. Sometimes I go and use more commercial tracks, just for laughs, like Armand Van Helden - Entra Mi Casa.
