Its Useless , But good for who owns it .. Collecting Database .. but i think these kinda ideas also good for audience to get more aware of the whole scene .. good or bad atleast they are talking

making genres for music still doesn't justify that you're ranking them on a 1,2,3,4,5... scale.
this is simply a vote of popularity and that was transparent from the start. DJs thought they might get popular using this site when what happened is the site used the DJs network to put themselves above all of them in a nice comfy chair of authoratai!!! well done! 
as nick said. it's a massive success to those who own it. final results are not surprising either.

maybe if you knew how to read, you would have seen that i DID NOT offer any free entries for skazi... a friend of mine made a joke on facebook about it, and ONE person responded... so i told him ok fine fine send me the vote link and ill put you on guest list, and i also told him please dont send my vote link out to all your friends, cuz i can only put you on the list.... and will not put others...
I was just helping the bugger out and following through on a joke my friend started....
dude you guys write endless thread about who is the best this and who is the best that.... so whats your problem is someone starts an official best DJ thing...

easy easy. it was mentioned to just bring out the irony of the situation. you guys... the ones doing the most campaign promo are DJs already on top of their game.
so how does this portray the DJ industry?
For example the DJs in Cal... churned out year after year thinking that yapping on a mike, playing the latest hits and dressing snazzy is all it takes.
now add campaigning for votes on myfavdj to that list.
you know what happened to myspace and the limits to campaigns. do u honestly believe the DJ circuit in India was ready for this kind of pressure?
and speaking of choice. it's in our nature to pick and choose our favorites. it's an expression of individuality. voting takes that and makes a majority wins rule. result = one party sitting on top of the rest.
anyway... this was bound to happen someday and it's started and shall remain. would be nice to hear some insights about the positive result of this competition seeing that some DJs who play non-commercial music won the votes. not to forget the moderator of this forum winning the best trance DJ award.

and some inside info..
on June 1st the overall ranking is going to be issued... regardless of genre/style..
and in that:
#1. Asad
#2. Janux
#3. dont know...
so you should be proud that from all the genres (hiphop, bollywood, house, techno, breakbeat, electronica, trance, rock, retro etc...)
the two top spots went to trance DJs, who like you say, play non-commercial music...
thats quite encouraging wouldnt you say?

now that is quite interesting for a country where non commercial trance parties are a lot less frequent then all the commercial gigs these days ...
this really amazes me coz i ve always tried to figure out the number of people who follow psy trance in India ...and cud never get a proper idea...
dont get me wrong and no offence to Asad bhai and urself ..
it can also indicate that the top spots went to the best campaigners and thus the result ...
I m not really a big fan of popularity contests after making the mistake of getting into one myself not too long ago ..but like Janux said im surprised and happy if the overall top spots went to you guys ...it shows how popular u guys are because of the music u play which is trance...
having said that it wud be great to know the no of votes that the top two guys got ...
if it is more than the hip hop , desi house etc..it must be a LOT of VOTES ...
and if you guys along with our music is so popular ..maybe it is time to form our own political party ,win seats in parliament and get a lot things legalized ...

now that is really something ..
wut does this tell about the music following in india ..does it mean that majority of party people in india follow psychedelic trance ??
