The festival was simply amazing.

Summer time for all 3 days.

Once again, toilets were terrible, but luckily Mother Nature gave us a hand there...

Best djs and Live PAs for me:

James Monroe played the best music by far! Asses shaking everywhere! Thumbs up Jimmy boy for a fantastic set!!!

Kristian & Phil Chichime rocked the place with their prog sets.

Peter Digital gave us the groove.

And last but not least, Son Kite did it again. No further comments needed about these guys.

Oh! And lets not forget the wonderful ID Spiral stage which was playing fantastic music any time I went there. Let's hope that next year they will make it an even bigger stage.

One of the things I didn't like about the festival was Hallucinogen's Live PA where the volume was very low. You practically had to go next to the speaker to listen to the music to a decent level, and the fact that he didn't play LSD...

Anyways, looking forward to next year!
Don't hope 2 much 4 something cause u may end up getting it...

lots of people say it was better than last year but i personally prefered lasts years event.little bit more low key.
i thought the music was pretty light wieght...very little energy on the origin stage, bit to ploddy for me,not enough fat chunky basslines.
liquid was pretty average too.
id spiral, amazing decor and chilled sounds.
shame about the pa on the origin stage being turned down at night.enviromental health to blame.!
top sociable event though, all the old faces..
sociablitiy 9/10
music(psy)-4/10
weather-10/10
well done glade possie though.much fun by all

Top festival in every sense, shame about the low volume at night, but the overall quality of the event
made up for the low volume at night.
This festival will surely very soon become one of the top electronic festivals in the world if it aint already.
Well done to all the crew for putting up such a belter.Oh and Paulo Mojo what an inspiration Fat electro and sinister funk

It was Eskimo. Not really my cup of tea - a tune or two of his is great but find it a bit much all in a row. The line up earlier in the day rocked though, or should that be killlaaaaa - so a big hurrah for Ans & Tristan (& possibly Regan who someone said played) - and even bigger hurrah for Commercial Hippies who were my fave psy-trance act of the festival - the DJ playing all the cheesy disco on fri night in the Pussy Parlure was prob my fave of the weekend though!

Last years was very special and can not to be repeated, but this years was still good but perhaps a bit of a victim of its own sucess, we had a fantastic time thanks guys.

Next year we are going to have to pay more for better security around the fence which was a problem (fence jumping yobos & thieves)

I also think they should turn off the psy trance stage at midnight since its frustrating to have such low volumes other minor gripe was four stacks of speakers facing in thus echo around the perimeter but otherwise music was all awesome, Quadra and Son Kite were some of the highlights good organsisation, camping, food, bars and just about everything else.

Yeah the sound levels were very annoying! Actually it was the shear weight of complaints that forced an otherwise friendly council to make us turn it down... Anyway, bollocks to it.. It otherwise was awesome...

There's some pictures up on the site - check www.gladefestival.com/photogallery

There were only actually 80 complaints mad over the weekend and some of those were people complaining twice. Still up on last years 14. But I would much rather the volume went down a notch than to jeopardise the future of this event. As a local resident my self I am VERY happy that this takes place on my doorstep. Lets not forget that the majority of the locals who don't mind the festival don’t get counted by the authorities. That is unless like me they write to the council and say how pleased they are with it.
Bring on 2006 I say.
