Funny...serious japanese trance fans don't take Vision Quest seriously. I wouldn't come even if they offered me free tickets and stay, I'd rather go to any of the undeground parties that is the real base of the japanese scene. But it seems that foreigners just think it's the best party here - and it's not, I assure you. The reason: commercialism, same bad taste line-up every year, and they have that sort of thinking "this year 12,000 people, next year 20,000, and then 30,000"..
